Hosted at Sunset — the Art of Hospitality, in one of the city’s landmark business locations, the morning brought together contemporary architecture, the energy of Almaty and an atmosphere of open dialogue. The event gathered key figures from business, investment, the diplomatic community, media and the creative industries to reflect on something that only occasionally finds its way into the focus of our fast-paced everyday lives: the value of conscious presence.

Ballet artists from the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre presented a choreographic reflection on presence, while the German Theatre contributed a theatrical performance. A sound performance by steppeson × DJ sarqytqyz continued the narrative, bringing the deep, archaic voice of the kobyz into dialogue with the rhythms of contemporary electronic music.
