As part of Visa Fashion Week Almaty Pre-Fall 2026, a special Public Talk took place, bringing together key figures from the fashion industry and business communities of Italy and Kazakhstan. Titled “Fashion as a Dialogue Between Italy and Kazakhstan. The Success of Made in Italy: Quality, Tradition, and Italian Style,” the discussion became an important platform for cultural and professional exchange.

Встреча под названием «Мода как диалог между Италией и Казахстаном. Успех Made in Italy: качество, традиции и итальянский стиль» стала важной площадкой для культурного и профессионального обмена.

The event highlighted how fashion can serve as a universal language, connecting countries through shared values of craftsmanship, aesthetics, and innovation. More than just a discussion, it became a space where ideas about collaboration, market development, and creative partnerships were explored.

The panel featured distinguished speakers, including Antonello De Riu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Kazakhstan; Aigul Amirzhanova, CEO of Viled Group and BOF 500 member; Gauhar Kapparova, Co-founder and CEO of G&G; Anna Yakovleva, CEO and Co-founder of Actual Optic; and Filippo Covino, Director of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in Kazakhstan. Each speaker shared insights on the influence of Italian fashion, the importance of heritage, and the growing dialogue between the two countries.
