Kazakhstan will be represented for the first time at the international beauty pageant Miss BRICS 2026

Казахстан впервые будет представлен на международном конкурсе красоты «Miss BRICS 2026»

For the first time in its history, Kazakhstan will officially take part in Miss BRICS 2026. The country will be represented by 17-year-old Aida Zhankylysh, holder of the title Miss Astana 2025 and a finalist of the national competition Miss Qazaqstan 2025. Aida departs on February 26 to join the preparatory events and rehearsals.

Казахстан впервые в истории официально примет участие в конкурсе «Miss BRICS 2026». Страну представит 17-летняя Аида Жанкылыш — обладательница титула Miss Astana 2025 и финалистка национального конкурса «Miss Qazaqstan 2025». Аида вылетает 26 февраля для участия в подготовительных мероприятиях и репетициях.

The competition will take place in Kazan and will begin on February 27. The international project brings together representatives of BRICS nations and partner states. In 2026, contestants from 17 countries have been announced. The final events and gala concert are scheduled for early March.

Конкурс пройдет в Казани и стартует 27 февраля. Проект объединяет представительниц стран БРИКС и государств-партнеров. В 2026 году заявлены участницы из 17 стран. Финальные мероприятия и гала-концерт состоятся в начале марта.

Miss BRICS 2026 is held in three categories: Miss (18–25 years), Mrs (30+), and Little Miss (under 13). Aida Zhankylysh will compete in the main Miss category. The format includes a national costume showcase, a creative performance, a country presentation, and participation in a cultural program aimed at strengthening international humanitarian dialogue.

«Miss BRICS 2026» проводится в трех категориях: Miss (18–25 лет), Mrs (старше 30 лет) и Little Miss (до 13 лет). Аида Жанкылыш представит Казахстан в основной категории Miss. Формат предполагает выход в национальном костюме, творческий номер, презентацию страны и участие в культурной программе, направленной на развитие международного гуманитарного диалога.

A key element of Aida’s preparation is her national costume, created by renowned Kazakh designer Aida Kaumenova. The look combines traditional Kazakh ornaments and symbolism with contemporary design solutions. The costume is conceived as a visual tribute to heritage and a confident step toward the future.

Одним из ключевых этапов подготовки стал национальный костюм, который для Аиды создает известный казахстанский дизайнер Аида Кауменова. Образ объединяет традиционные казахские орнаменты и символику с современными дизайнерскими решениями. Костюм задуман как визуальное уважение к наследию и уверенное движение в будущее.

Aida herself notes: “For me, it is a great responsibility and honor to represent my country at this level for the first time. I want to present our culture with dignity and professionalism, so that the international audience sees a modern, talented, and globally open Kazakhstan.”

Ramina Ibragimova, Director of the national beauty pageant Miss Qazaqstan 2025, emphasized that participation in the project opens new international opportunities for Kazakh contestants and strengthens the country’s cultural presence on the global stage. According to her, it is particularly significant that Kazakhstan is joining Miss BRICS for the first time by official invitation from the organizers.

Kazakhstan’s debut at Miss BRICS is more than participation in an international pageant—it is a meaningful step in advancing cultural diplomacy and promoting the national brand. For the first time, a Kazakh representative will take this stage, symbolizing a new generation of ambitious, talented, and professionally prepared young women ready to present Kazakhstan to the world.
