Georgian designer has been appointed artistic director of Balenciaga

Demna Gvasalia, the wunderkind Georgian designer behind Vetements, has been appointed artistic director of French House Balenciaga. We recall that last year, Demna Gvasalia is a graduate of the Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts as part of Vetements became one of the finalists of the competition for young designers LVMH Prize, and before that Gvasalia worked 8 years as chief designer of Maison Martin Margiela studio.

Креативным директором  Balenciaga назначен грузинский дизайнер

Демна Гвасалия, грузинский дизайнер – вундеркинд, а также глава парижской группировки Vetements, был назначен креативным директором французского Дома Balenciaga. Напомним, что в прошлом году выпускник Антверпенской академии художеств Демна Гвасалия в составе Vetements стал одним из финалистов конкурса молодых дизайнеров LVMH Prize, а до этого Гвасалия 8 лет работал главным дизайнером студии Maison Martin  Margiela.
