Spirit of the Himalayas: Going beyond the three seas of Sergei Sangpo

From November 17 to November 18, a photo exhibition entitled “The Spirit of the Himalayas: Going beyond the three seas of Sergey Sangpo” took place in Almaty, organized by the production center of Karina Sarsenova KS production. The exhibition presented more than 45 works by Sergey, which he did in the period from 2004 to 2016. The uniqueness of the exhibition is that it gave an opportunity to touch the places of power through photos and learn about the life in Tibet from the conductor (author of the photos) Sergey Sangpo. He is the first and only Kazakhstani who managed to get 2 personal audiences with the Dalai Lama. Sergey Sokolov (Sangpo) has been studying and organizing tours in the Himalayas for more than 20 years. The exhibition showed Sergei’s personal belongings, which the Dalai Lama presented to him. In addition, the master of the Osho-practitioner and the Sufi circus Ferdus performed at the evening, showing a small performance, as well as the group Bugarabu, whose lead singer Yuri Logunov studied his skills in India.

С 17 по 18 ноября в Алматы прошла фотовыставка «Дух Гималаев: Хождение за три моря Сергея Сангпо», организатором которой выступил продюсерский центр Карины Сарсеновой KS production. В экспозиции представили более 45 работ Сергея, который он сделал в период с 2004 по 2016 года. Уникальность выставки в том, что она дала возможность через фотографии прикоснуться к местам силы и узнать у проводника (автора снимков) Сергея Сангпо о жизни в Тибете. Он первый и единственный казахстанец, кому удалось получить 2 личных аудиенции с Далай Ламой. Сергей Cоколов (Сангпо) уже более 20 лет занимается изучением и организацией туров в Гималаи. На выставке были продемонстрированы личные вещи Сергея, которые ему подарил Далай Лама. Кроме того, на вечере для гостей выступила мастер Ошо-практик и суфийских кружений Фердуса, показав небольшой перфоманс, а также группа Bugarabu, солист которой Юрий Логунов обучался своему мастерству в Индии.
