Sugar skulls

In October, in Mexico ends the growing season and it's time to reap the fruits and give thanks for the fact that the earth is fertile.

At this time, the Mexicans are preparing for «Dia de Muerte» that is the day of the dead is the most important and beloved Mexican holidays. There is a tradition of preparing sugar skulls for the holiday, which are decorated as excite your imagination. Unusual patterns with sugar skulls became transferred to the faces of the people during the worldwide celebration of «Halloween». Anastassiya Doronina invented a special project dedicated to the sugar skulls, in which we participated directly.
