June 29, 2025, Almaty - In the heart of the city, at the Platforma site (Zheltoksana St., 148), the grand opening of the photo exhibition "ZOO Art" was held, organized by the Union of Photographers and Digital Photo Artists (@union.kaz).

29 июня 2025 года, Алматы — В самом сердце города, на площадке Platforma (ул. Желтоксана, 148), состоялось торжественное открытие фотовыставки «ZOO Art», организованной Союзом фотографов и цифровых фотохудожников (@union.kaz).

The project brought together more than 30 talented photographers from various cities of Kazakhstan - Astana, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk and others. The exhibition presents over 100 works covering a wide range of genres: from portraits of wildlife to touching images of domestic animals, insects, birds and art photographs. Each of them is an independent visual story, capturing a unique moment in life and conveying the beauty of the world around us.

Проект объединил более 30 талантливых фотографов из различных городов Казахстана — Астаны, Петропавловска, Павлодара, Усть-Каменогорска и других. В экспозиции представлено свыше 100 работ, охватывающих широкий спектр жанров: от портретов дикой природы до трогательных образов домашних животных, насекомых, птиц и арт-фотографий. Каждая из них — это самостоятельная визуальная история, фиксирующая уникальный момент жизни и передающая красоту мира вокруг нас.

The lectures of invited speakers added a special atmosphere to the opening. Renowned photographer and researcher Ongarbek Alkharov (@ongarbek_alkharov) spoke about the development of photography in Kazakhstan and the role of culture in the modern agenda. Daria Dunich (@daria.dunich), artist and curator, gave a lecture on the symbolism of animals in art, as well as new approaches in modern animal studies.

Особую атмосферу открытия придали лекции приглашённых спикеров. Известный фотограф и исследователь Онгарбек Алхаров (@ongarbek_alkharov) рассказал о развитии фотографии в Казахстане и роли культуры в современной повестке. Дарья Дунич (@daria.dunich), художница и куратор, выступила с лекцией о символизме животных в искусстве, а также о новых подходах в современной анималистике.

Guests of the exhibition had the opportunity not only to meet the authors of the works, but also to become part of a lively dialogue about creativity, upcoming projects and travels, to share stories related to the world of animals and photography. Representatives of creative industries, famous bloggers, as well as many young viewers were noticed among the visitors — it is children, as always, who show the most sincere interest in animals.

Гости выставки получили возможность не только познакомиться с авторами работ, но и стать частью живого диалога о творчестве, предстоящих проектах и путешествиях, поделиться историями, связанными с миром животных и фотографией. Среди посетителей были замечены представители креативных индустрий, известные блогеры, а также множество юных зрителей — именно дети, как всегда, проявляют самый искренний интерес к животным.

The day ended with the traditional prize draw from the event partners: Sigma, Global Nomads, Beta Tea, as well as the announcement of the main prize from the Bayazed brand, which will be raffled off in the social networks of the Union of Photographers and Digital Photo Artists (@union.kaz). Anyone can support the author they like with their vote.

Завершением дня стал традиционный розыгрыш призов от партнеров мероприятия: Sigma, Global Nomads, Beta Tea, а также анонс главного приза от бренда Bayazed, который будет разыгран в социальных сетях Союза фотографов и цифровых фотохудожников (@union.kaz). Каждый желающий может поддержать понравившегося автора своим голосом.

The photo exhibition "ZOO Art" is not only a visual pleasure, but also a reminder of the harmony between man and nature, of our responsibility for its preservation.

Фотовыставка «ZOO Art» — это не только визуальное наслаждение, но и напоминание о гармонии между человеком и природой, о нашей ответственности за её сохранение.

The exhibition will be open until July 20, 2025. Free admission.
