A milestone event recently took place at the company’s manufacturing site in Shymkent — the official presentation of the new brand Polpharma Santo, along with the awarding of the European Union’s GMP certificate. This certification confirms that the company’s production processes meet the highest international quality standards.
На производственной площадке в Шымкенте состоялась торжественная презентация нового бренда Polpharma Santo и демонстрация сертификата GMP Европейского союза, подтверждающего соответствие производства международным стандартам качества.

The ceremony was attended by Jerzy Starak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Polpharma Group, Akim of Shymkent Gabit Syzdykbekov, and Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Health Timur Muratov.
В мероприятии приняли участие Председатель Наблюдательного совета Polpharma Group господин Ежи Старак, аким Шымкента Габит Сыздыкбеков и вице-министр здравоохранения РК Тимур Муратов.

Earlier that day, Mr. Starak also took part in the Plenary Session of the Foreign Investors’ Council under the President of Kazakhstan in Astana, and met with the Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova, Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, and Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
До этого господин Старак участвовал в пленарной сессии Совета иностранных инвесторов в Астане и провёл встречи с министром здравоохранения Акмарал Альназаровой, главой МИД Муратом Нуртлеу и премьер-министром Олжасом Бектеновым.

Key directions of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Polpharma Group were highlighted, including:
На встречах были обозначены приоритетные направления стратегического партнёрства между Казахстаном и группой Polpharma, такие как:

• a plan to sign an investment agreement worth over €60 million to localize production of oncology, diabetes, and cardiovascular drugs;
• соглашение на сумму свыше 60 млн евро для локализации производства препаратов от онкологических, диабетических и сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний;

• measures to reduce dependence on imported essential medicines and strengthen the health system’s resilience;
• снижение зависимости от импорта жизненно важных препаратов и укрепление устойчивости системы здравоохранения;

• positioning Kazakhstan as a regional pharmaceutical hub and expanding exports to the EU, EAEU, Middle East and other regions;
• позиционирование Казахстана как фармацевтического хаба с экспортом в ЕС, ЕАЭС, Ближний Восток и другие регионы;

• developing innovation through the Polpharma Santo Innovation and Quality Center, in cooperation with universities and clinics.

During the event, educational grants were awarded to four students of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
