The ballet «Le Corsaire» is considered a bright pearl in the collection of world musical classics. Along with another famous masterpiece of Adolphe Adam, the ballet «Giselle», it is included in the Golden Fund of the world ballet repertoire, which is based on the libretto of Byron's poem of the same name.

Балет «Корсар» считается яркой жемчужиной в копилке мировой музыкальной классики. Наравне с другим знаменитым шедевром Адольфа Адана, балетом «Жизель», входит в Золотой фонд мирового балетного репертуара, в основе которого лежит либретто одноимённой поэмы Байрона.

The immortal classics in the modern choreographic treatment of the chief ballet master-director of the Abay Opera House, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulzhan Tutkibaeva, in the scenography of the Italian artist William Orlandi made the ballet production a large-scale romantic canvas, an adventurous adventure with an abundance of masterfully constructed mass scenes and ensembles. Erbolat Akhmedyarov was the conductor-director of the Abay Opera House Symphony Orchestra.

Бессмертная классика в современной хореографической обработке главного балетмейстера-постановщика ГАТОБ имени Абая, Народной артистки РК Гульжан Туткибаевой, в сценографии итальянского художника Вильяма Орланди сделали балетную постановку масштабным романтическим полотном, авантюрным приключением с обилием мастерски построенных массовых сцен и ансамблей. Дирижером-постановщиком симфонического оркестра ГАТОБ имени Абая выступил Ерболат Ахмедьяров.

The leading soloists of the theatre's ballet troupe embodied the story of the corsairs on the stage. The captivating plot of the ballet was so colorful and dynamic that it left no one indifferent.

Ведущие солисты балетной труппы театра воплотили на сцене историю корсаров. Захватывающий сюжет балета был настолько красочен и динамичен, что никого не оставил равнодушным.
