Kazakhstan to Make Its Debut at “Miss Grand International – 2025”

For the first time in history, Kazakhstan will be represented at the prestigious Miss Grand International beauty pageant. On September 15, 2025, a press conference was held at Promenade Business Park in Almaty to announce the participation of Tomiris Kadyrkhan in Miss Grand International – 2025.

Впервые в истории Казахстан будет представлен на престижном международном конкурсе красоты Miss Grand International. 15 сентября 2025 года в Алматы, в Promenade Business Park, состоялась пресс-конференция, посвящённая участию Томирис Кадырхан в Miss Grand International – 2025.

The press event was attended by Aizhan Ruzaeva, Director of the National Contest “Miss Qazaqstan,” Tomiris Kadyrkhan, the titleholder of “Miss Grand Qazaqstan – 2024,” and Kuralai Kurman, PR Manager of the contest. This year, Kazakhstan will join the competition in Bangkok, Thailand, where the pageant will kick off on September 29 and conclude with the grand final on October 18.
На встрече со СМИ выступили директор Национального конкурса «Miss Qazaqstan» Айжан Рузаева, обладательница титула «Miss Grand Qazaqstan – 2024» Томирис Кадырхан и PR-менеджер конкурса Куралай Курман. В этом году Казахстан примет участие в конкурсе, который пройдёт в Бангкоке, Таиланд. Конкурс стартует 29 сентября, а финал состоится 18 октября.

“Miss Qazaqstan is the only national pageant in the country that holds licenses to participate in three of the world’s most prestigious beauty contests. That is why Tomiris Kadyrkhan, our 2024 titleholder of Miss Grand Qazaqstan, has earned the right to represent Kazakhstan on the Miss Grand International stage,” said PR Manager Kuralai Kurman.

In preparation for the competition, Tomiris is working tirelessly – from vocal training and photo sessions to designing a one-of-a-kind national costume created with the help of artificial intelligence.
Для достойного представления страны Томирис активно готовится к конкурсу: занимается вокалом, участвует в съёмках и работает над созданием национального костюма с применением технологий искусственного интеллекта.

“The sketch of the costume was developed together with artist Aigul Musabaeva. The image of Queen Tomiris served as our inspiration. Through this unique outfit, I want to show that Kazakh women embody both tenderness and courage,” shared Tomiris Kadyrkhan.
«Эскиз костюма мы разрабатывали вместе с художницей Айгуль Мусабаевой. Вдохновением послужил образ царицы Томирис. С помощью уникального наряда я хочу показать, что в казахских девушках сочетаются нежность и смелость», – рассказала Томирис Кадырхан.

According to Aizhan Ruzaeva, Director of “Miss Qazaqstan,” Tomiris carries a special mission – to present Kazakhstan’s culture, modern image, and values to the world. “Over 50 countries will be represented at this competition. In the lead-up to the final, Tomiris will showcase her creative talents and speak out against war and violence,” Ruzaeva emphasized.
По словам Айжан Рузаевой, на плечи Томирис возложена особая миссия – представить культуру, современный имидж и ценности Казахстана. «В конкурсе примут участие представительницы более 50 стран. В период до финала Томирис продемонстрирует свои творческие способности и озвучит позицию против войны и насилия», – подчеркнула она.
