NEWS: Fashion Business Convention will be held in Kazakhstan for the first time

January 30, Almaty Management University will host the first in Kazakhstan Fashion Business Convention (FBC). The purpose of the meeting is to help Kazakhstani designers and other representatives of the fashion industry to turn their favorite business into a profitable business, as well as to expand the opportunities of the creative industry in the country. Fashion Business Convention will be held in the framework of the project of the British Council Creative Spark. Event organizers: Kazakhstan Fashion Week, AlmaU, University of Northampton (United Kingdom).

30 января в Almaty Management University состоится первый в Казахстане Fashion Business Convention (FBC). Цель встречи – помочь казахстанским дизайнерам и другим представителям индустрии моды превратить любимое дело в прибыльный бизнес, а также расширить возможности креативной индустрии в стране. Fashion Business Convention пройдет в рамках проекта Британского Совета Creative Spark.  Организаторы мероприятия: Kazakhstan Fashion Week, AlmaU, Нортгемптонский университет (Великобритания).

FBC will open a series of events from Creative Spark devoted to the fashion industry - until June 2019, Kazakhstani designers are expected every month to conduct master classes and trainings on the development of the fashion business. For FBC participants, attendance at further master classes will be free of charge. The FBC speakers will be the founder, PR director of the National Fashion Week Kazakhstan Fashion Week, Botagoz Aldongarova, deputy chairman of the Scientific and Production Enterprise RK Atameken, Olzhas Ordabayev, Dr. Katerina Thomas, Senior Lecturer Business Entrepreneurship, Iain Bromley, Program Leader Fashion Marketing, University of Northampton, designer Olga Stanishevskaya, author of several collections of the brand Olga Stan.

FBC откроет серию мероприятий от Creative Spark, посвященных fashion-индустрии, – до июня 2019 г. каждый месяц казахстанских дизайнеров ждут мастер-классы и тренинги на тему развития модного бизнеса. Для участников FBC присутствие на дальнейших мастер-классах будет бесплатным. Спикерами FBC станут учредитель, PR-директор Национальной Недели моды Kazakhstan Fashion Week Ботагоз Алдонгарова, заместитель председателя НПП РК «Атамекен» Олжас Ордабаев, Dr. Katerina Thomas, Senior Lecturer Business Entrepreneurship, Iain Bromley, Programme Leader Fashion Marketing, University of Northampton, дизайнер Ольга Станишевская, автор нескольких коллекций бренда Olga Stan.

How to make money in the fashion industry, how to find investors and express yourself, guest speakers will tell FBC. Particular attention and time will be paid to networking, you will be able to meet like-minded people and develop business together.
