NEWS: Stars of the Paris Opera, the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden and the Bolshoi Theater of Russia will visit Almaty

On March 27, 28 and 29, the II Ballet Globe International Festival will be held at the Abai Opera House dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Marius Petipa. On March 27, Almaty residents and guests of the city will be able to enjoy the performance of Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty, in the choreography of Marius Petipa, with the participation of the Paris Opera Miriam Ould-Braham and Mathias Heymann, the ballet troupe and symphony orchestra of the Abai Opera House. On March 28, one of the most famous and perfect Marius Petipa's ballets La Bayadere, featuring the prima ballerina and leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Ekaterina Krysanova and Igor Tsvirko, the invited prima ballerina of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Prima Ballerina of the Staatsballett Berlin Iana Salenko, a ballet troupe and Symphony Orchestra of the Abai Opera House. On the final day of the festival, on March 29, classical and modern ballet will be held on the stage of the Abai Opera House. At the Ballet Globe Gala, the Paris Opera opera stars Miriam Ould-Braham and Mathias Heymann, the prima ballerina and the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Ekaterina Krysanova and Igor Tsvirko,  the invited prima ballerina of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Prima Ballerina of the Staatsballett Berlin Iana Salenko, Etoile of the Grand Theatre de Bordeaux Sara Renda and Etoile of the Grand Theatre de Bordeaux Roman Mikhalev, principal dancers of the Grand Theatre de Geneve Sasha Riva and Yumi Aizawa, leading soloists of the Abai Opera House Azamat and Asel Askarova and leading soloists of the Astana Opera Theater Bakhtiyar Adamzhan and Madina Basbaeva. As part of the festival every day from 18:00 in the foyer of the second floor Theater will be an exhibition of contemporary art LEVITATION, organized in cooperation with Artios Art Advisory.

27, 28 и 29 марта в Казахском Государственном Академическом театре оперы и балета имени Абая пройдет II Международный фестиваль Ballet Globe, посвященный 200-летию со дня рождения Мариуса  Петипа. 27 марта алматинцы и гости города смогут насладиться спектаклем П.И. Чайковского «Спящая Красавица», в хореографии Мариуса Петипа, с участием этуалей Парижской Оперы Мириам Олд-Брам и Матиаса Эймана, балетной труппы и симфонического оркестра ГАТОБ им.Абая. 28 марта вниманию горожан будет представлен один из знаменитейших и совершенных балетов Мариуса Петипа «Баядерка», с участием прима-балерины и ведущего солиста Большого театра России Екатерины Крысановой и Игоря Цвирко, приглашенной прима-балерины Королевского театра Ковент-Гарден Яны Саленко, балетной труппы и симфонического оркестра ГАТОБ им.Абая. Генеральный спонсор спектакля – Ювелирный дом Damiani. В заключительный день фестиваля, 29 марта на сцене ГАТОБ им.Абая встретятся классический и современный балет. На Ballet Globe Gala выступят этуали «Париж-Опера» Мириам Олд-Брам и Матиас Эйман, прима-балерина и ведущий солист Большого театра России Екатерина Крысанова и Игорь Цвирко, приглашенная прима-балерина Королевского театра "Ковент-Гарден" Яна Саленко, этуали Большого театра Бордо Сара Ренда и Роман Михалев, ведущие солисты Большого театра Женевы Саша Рива и Юми Айзава, ведущие солисты ГАТОБ им.Абая Азамат и Асель Аскаровы и ведущие солисты театра «Астана Опера» Бахтияр Адамжан и Мадина Басбаева.В рамках фестиваля ежедневно с 18:00 в фойе второго этажа театра будет работать выставка современного искусства LEVITATION, организованная в сотрудничестве с Artios Art Advisory.
