Down-padded coat and its derivatives

The down-padded coat and its derivatives became the universal winter clothes – they are in women’s, man’s and children’s wardrobe. The down-padded coat became practically replacement to fur and sheepskin coats; because on the properties it heats not worse than fur products and has incredibly huge variety of styles and colors.

Such jacket became so habitual attribute of winter that it is impossible to imagine cold weather without it. However, the first down-padded coats appeared in the 16th century, of course, in the cold Scandinavian countries, namely - in Norway. They found out the exceptional properties of eiderdown and even brought such jackets in neighboring Russia, where they are not accustomed. The rebirth of the down jacket has occurred in the second half of the 20th century when scientists were puzzled by the creation of clothing for the explorers: warm and mild at the same time. The down-padded coat appeared in female wardrobe thanks to Yves Saint Laurent who included them in the collection. Of course, since then, the down jacket has improved in quality, become thinner, more convenient and lighter. Every new season it thins and thickens, then painted in bright colors but the truth remains that it is available in all cases regardless of age, height and weight.

Именно пуховик стал практически заменой шубам, дубленкам, тулупам, потому что по своим свойствам он греет не хуже меховых изделий и имеет невероятно огромное разнообразие фасонов и цветов. Такая куртка стала настолько привычным атрибутом зимы, что без нее нельзя представить себе холода вообще. Однако, первые пуховики появились еще в 16 веке, конечно же, в холодных скандинавских странах, а именно - в Норвегии. Там открыли исключительные свойства гагачьего пуха и даже завозили такие куртки в соседнюю Россию, где они не прижились. Второе рождение пуховика произошло во второй половине 20-го века -тогда ученые были озадачены созданием одежды для полярников: теплой и легкой одновременно. А к нам в женские гардеробные пуховик перекочевал благодаря Иву Сену Лорану, который включил их в свою коллекцию. Конечно же, с тех пор пуховик улучшался по качеству, становился тоньше, удобней, легче. В каждом новом сезоне он то утончается, то утолщается, то раскрашивается в яркие цвета, но неизменным остается факт его наличия во всех шкафах независимо от возраста, роста и комплекции.
