Fashion and business: poetry and prose, ice and flame

The XXII International Fashion Exhibition Central Asia Fashion Autumn 2018 was held in Almaty on September 16-18. CAF is the largest fashion event in Central Asia, representing a fashion and business tandem. The exhibition was attended by more than 100 exhibitors from 11 countries. They are leading manufacturers and suppliers of men's, women's and children's clothes, shoes, accessories, underwear, evening dresses, hats, outerwear and fur. Thanks to the EXPO zone, the participants had an excellent opportunity to announce their company and personally communicate with the buyers. In the SHOW zone, during 3 days of the exhibition, fashion shows were held, where designers and fashion brands demonstrated their latest collections.

16-18 сентября в Алматы состоялась XXII Международная выставка моды Central Asia Fashion Autumn 2018. CAF - крупнейшее fashion мероприятие на территории Центральной Азии, представляющее собой тандем моды и бизнеса. В выставке приняли участие более 100 экспонентов из 11 стран. Это ведущие производители и поставщики мужской, женской и детской одежды, обуви, аксессуаров, нижнего белья, вечерних нарядов, головных уборов, верхней одежды и меха. Благодаря зоне EXPO у участников была отличная возможность заявить о своей компании и лично пообщаться с закупщиками. В зоне SHOW на протяжении 3-х дней выставки проходили модные показы, где дизайнеры и модные марки демонстрировали последние коллекции.

In order to ensure effective attendance of the exhibition, the organizer - the company CATEXPO - every time conducts a special buyer's program, providing regional visitors with free accommodation and transfer to Almaty. Under the program, more than 600 representatives of fashion business from all regions of Kazakhstan come to Almaty every season. In general, in the Autumn-2018 autumn season, about 4,000 people from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan became visitors to the exhibition.

Для того, чтобы обеспечить эффективную посещаемость выставки, организатор - компания CATEXPO – каждый раз проводит специальную байерскую программу, обеспечивая региональным посетителям бесплатное проживание и трансфер в Алматы. По программе каждый сезон в Алматы приезжают более 600 представителей модного бизнеса из всех регионов Казахстана. В целом, в осеннем сезоне Autumn- 2018 посетителями выставки стали около 4 000 человек из Казахстана, Узбекистана, Кыргызстана и Таджикистана.

At the opening ceremony of CAF Autumn 2018, a collective show of participants of the Kazakhstan contest of young designers New Generation Open Way-2018 was held. 14 of designers showed their looks on the podium. They presented the author's works designed to acquaint the world fashion community with Kazakhstan's design.

На церемонии открытия CAF Autumn 2018 прошел коллективный показ участников казахстанского конкурса молодых дизайнеров New Generation Open Way-2018. Свои луки продемонстрировали на подиуме 14 дизайнеров. Они представили авторские работы, призванные познакомить мировое fashion сообщество с казахстанским дизайном.

Special guests of the exhibition were members of the film crew of the film "Daughter of Genghis Khan in the 21st Century": producer and actress Yana Bobryka, actress of theater and cinema Akniet Meirzhan, famous Kazakh designer Bagdat Akylbekova, who created all the historical costumes for the new film.

Специальными гостями выставки стали члены съемочной группы кинофильма «Дочь Чингизхана в 21 веке»: продюсер и актриса Яна Бобрыка, актриса театра и кино Акниет Меиржан, известный казахстанский дизайнер Багдат Акылбекова, которая создала для нового фильма все исторические костюмы.

The indisputable advantage of the Central Asia Fashion exhibition is that visitors can take part in the profile conference of the organized business zone, within which there are discussion platforms and training trainings with Kazakhstani and international experts.
