The pre-premiere of «The Promise»

What is a war film? This is directly the history of the development of an international conflict, which in one way or another was imprinted in history. In my stereotyped world, a war film is a story, consisting of a story where in the frame soldiers with automatic weapons, someone dies, blood and tears everywhere. It was with this opinion that I went to the film «The Promise». But after watching this opinion has changed categorically. The film tells not only about how the Turks fought against Armenians, how difficult this nationalist war of citizens living in the same city is, in a film where only a couple of times we can see battle scenes, and everything else is the story of the relationship of medical student Mikael, who fell in love with a beautiful artist Anna. Mikael has a bride in his homeland, who is waiting for the return of her beloved, and Anna has a relationship with American journalist Chris Myers. But what if the hearts fall in love, and between them there is a barrier in the form of third parties and the worst is the war.

26 апреля в кинотеатре Kinopark 11 IMAX Esentai состоялся предпремьерный показ фильма «Обещание». Что такое фильм о войне? Это непосредственно история развития международного конфликта, который, так или иначе, отпечатался в истории. В моем стереотипном мире военный фильм – это сюжет, состоящий из истории, где в кадре солдаты с автоматами, кто-то умирает, повсюду кровь и слезы. Именно с таким мнением я пошла на фильм «Обещание».  Но после просмотра это мнение категорично поменялось. Фильм рассказывает не только о том, как турки воевали с армянами, как тяжела эта националистическая война граждан, живущих в одном городе, это фильм, в котором всего пару раз мы видим сцены боя, а все остальное – история взаимоотношений студента-медика Микаэля Богосяна, влюбившегося в прекрасную художницу Анну. У Микаэля на Родине осталась невеста, которая ждет возвращения любимого, а у Анны отношения с американским журналистом Крисом Майерсом. Но что делать, если сердца влюбляются, а между ними встает преграда в виде третьих лиц и самое страшное – войны.

The film, directed by Terry George, skillfully mixed in itself several genres: a drama and a historical insurgent under the auspices of one topic - the military one. If we consider the technical side of the film, then I note that a decent budget ($ 90 million) is available. Shooting is smart, the actors work are amazing, even the selection of actors in the mass scene, it can be seen that it was held with great responsibility. Definitely recommend the movie for viewing. Here you will find scenes, where the soul pours out blood, at times you will feel anxiety, happiness, fear or joy. The film really deserves the attention of the viewer, who appreciates cinema art. It is in the cinemas from April 27.

Фильм под руководством Терри Джорджа умело смешал в себе несколько жанров: драму и исторический боевик под эгидой одной темы – военной. Если рассмотреть техническую сторону фильма, то отмечу, что приличный бюджет ($ 90 млн) налицо! Съемка шикарна, игра актеров превосходит сама себя, даже подбор актеров массовой сцены, видно, что проведен с большой ответственностью. Придраться, простите, не к чему. Однозначно фильм рекомендую к просмотру. Здесь вы найдете и откровенные сцены, и кадры, где душа обливается кровью, временами будет чувствовать тревогу, счастье, страх или радость. Фильм действительно заслуживает внимания зрителя, который ценит киноискусство. В кино с 27 апреля.
