Hanum Aidash Fall/Winter 2026: “Traces in the Sand – The Nightingale Bird”

During Paris Fashion Week, the fashion house Hanum Aidash presented its new Fall/Winter 2026 collection titled “Qumdagy Izder: Bulbul Qus” (“Traces in the Sand: The Nightingale Bird”). The project brings together the personal story of the brand’s founder, the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, and the contemporary language of haute fashion. The collection continues the previous creative chapter and explores themes of memory, origin, and the journey from native land to the global runway.

На Неделе моды в Париже модный дом Hanum Aidash представил новую коллекцию осень–зима 2026 под названием «Құмдағы іздер: Бұлбұл құс». Проект объединяет личную историю основательницы бренда, культурное наследие Казахстана и современный язык высокой моды. Коллекция стала логическим продолжением предыдущей творческой главы и раскрывает тему памяти, происхождения и движения от родной земли к мировому подиуму.

The runway show took place on March 6 at 17:00 at La Maison de l’Amérique Latine, located at 217 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. The elegant historical venue provided an atmospheric setting for the presentation of the collection. The Parisian audience warmly welcomed the show, and the collection was met with genuine enthusiasm, receiving strong applause from guests, editors, and fashion professionals.

Hanum Aidash was born and raised in Kyzylorda, a city on the banks of the Syr Darya River, surrounded by steppe landscapes and vast sandy spaces. For the designer, this place became not only a childhood environment but also the foundation of the brand’s aesthetic. The landscapes of the region, with their soft dunes, light, and wind, shaped the visual language of the collection. Here, sand is perceived not as emptiness, but as a space of memory where traces of journeys remain.

Ханум Айдаш родилась и выросла в Кызылорде. Город на берегу Сырдарьи, окруженный степями и песчаными пространствами, стал для дизайнера не только местом детства, но и фундаментом эстетики бренда. Ландшафты региона с их мягкими линиями барханов, светом и ветром сформировали визуальный код коллекции. Песок здесь воспринимается не как пустота, а как пространство памяти, в котором сохраняются следы пути.

The title “Qumdagy Izder: Bulbul Qus” translates as “Traces in the Sand: The Nightingale Bird.” In Kazakh mythological tradition, the bird symbolizes the soul, freedom, and the connection between worlds. The image of the nightingale is associated with a voice that carries emotion, strength, and inner resilience. Within the concept of the collection, the nightingale becomes a metaphor for the creative voice that preserves its identity regardless of geography.

Название «Құмдағы іздер: Бұлбұл құс» переводится как «Следы на песке: Птица соловей». В казахской мифологической традиции птица символизирует душу, свободу и связь между мирами. Образ соловья ассоциируется с голосом, который несет чувство, силу и внутреннюю устойчивость. В концепции коллекции бұлбұл құс становится метафорой творческого голоса, который сохраняет свою идентичность независимо от географии.

The new collection continues the brand’s narrative in which the steppe has already appeared as a source of strength and cultural identity. While earlier works focused on returning to roots, this project explores the theme of movement and transformation. It tells the story of how local identity becomes part of a global dialogue.

Новая коллекция продолжает историю бренда, в которой степь уже звучала как источник силы и культурного кода. Если ранее акцент был сделан на обращении к корням, то нынешний проект раскрывает тему движения и развития. Это история о том, как локальная идентичность становится частью глобального диалога.

Visually, the collection reflects the textures of sand, soft tonal transitions, layered compositions, and fluid silhouettes. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted through contemporary tailoring, architectural structure, and the purity of lines.

В визуальном решении коллекции прослеживаются природные текстуры песка, мягкие переходы оттенков, многослойность и пластичность силуэтов. Традиционные мотивы переосмыслены через современную архитектуру кроя и чистоту линий.

Paris, within the framework of this project, becomes a space of cultural dialogue. Presenting the collection in the capital of fashion emphasizes the idea that an aesthetic shaped in Kyzylorda can resonate on the international stage while maintaining its authenticity and character.

Париж в рамках проекта выступает как пространство культурного взаимодействия. Представление коллекции в столице моды подчеркивает идею о том, что эстетика, сформированная в Кызылорде, способна звучать на международной сцене, сохраняя подлинность и характер.

“Qumdagy Izder: Bulbul Qus” reflects a journey from a hometown to global recognition. It is a story about memory that remains at the heart of every creative decision and about a voice that, once heard, continues to resonate beyond time and space.
