Dior presented the new collection in Marrakech

Spring and summer in African style

The 16th century El Badi Palace in Morocco was the location of the Dior fashion show. The collection includes costumes made of «tapestry» fabric with images of tropical plants, exotic birds and wild animals, voluminous coats and ponchos, dresses with delicate and difficultly embroidered bodices, as well as denim items and the new version of the famous «bar» jacket over which worked designer Grace Wales Bonner and artist Mikaleyn Thomas.

Among the accessories stood out high boots with a small fringe on the top, wide belts with a Dior logo buckle, woven bags, headbands and pearl jewelry with pendants in the shape of lions, monkeys, elephants and giraffes. The highlight of the fashion show was the fire in the middle of the reservoir and a lot of candles that set the evening the special atmosphere.

Весна и лето в африканском стиле

Локацией показа Dior стал дворец XVI века Эль-Бади в Марокко. В коллекцию вошли костюмы из «гобеленовой» ткани с изображениями тропических растений, экзотических птиц и диких животных, объемные пальто и пончо, платья с ажурными и сложно расшитыми лифами, а также вещи из денима и новая версия знаменитого жакета «бар», над которой работали дизайнер Грейс Уэльс Боннер и художница Микалейн Томас.

Из аксессуаров выделялись высокие сапоги с небольшой бахромой по верху, широкие пояса с пряжкой-логотипом Dior, плетеные сумки, повязки на голову и украшения из жемчуга с подвесками в форме львов, обезьян, слонов и жирафов. Изюминкой модного шоу стал костер посреди водохранилища и множество свечей, которые задали вечеру особую атмосферу.
