The day of the Bastille on Mount Kok Tobe

Last Sunday, hundreds of guests plunged into the atmosphere of the Tour de France - the most popular cycling race in the world, which is watched by millions of people every year. It became the main theme of the celebration this year. The organizers - the Consulate General of France in Almaty - remembered another remarkable date - 200 years ago the first bicycle was created, the prototypes of which are now traveling along the roads of our and other cities. The special guest of the holiday in Almaty was the director of the International Festival of Extreme Sports FISE Mathieu Clavier. In the southern capital, he brought two riders - masters of tricks on BMX. The guys demonstrated their ability to own bikes, and one athlete even managed to remove the T-shirt while continuing to spin on one wheel of his «horse». Musical accompaniment from the best DJs of Almaty, delicious treats, rivers of alcoholic beverages, lottery from sponsors, as well as a lot of instant prizes and gifts, colorful salute - this was remembered by the people of Almaty at the National Holiday of France - 2017.

Алматинцы отметили главный Национальный праздник Франции – День взятия Бастилии на горе Кок Тобе. В минувшее воскресенье сотни гостей окунулись в атмосферу Тур де Франс – самой популярной в мире велогонки, за которой ежегодно наблюдают миллионы людей. Именно она стала главной тематикой празднования в этом году. Организаторы – Генеральное консульство Франции в Алматы - вспомнили и еще одну примечательную дату – 200 лет назад был создан первый велосипед, прототипы которого сегодня ездят по дорогам нашего и других городов. Специальным гостем праздника в Алматы стал директор Международного фестиваля по экстремальным видам спорта FISE Матье Клавье. В южную столицу он привез двух райдеров – мастеров трюков на BMX. Парни продемонстрировали свое умение владения байками, а один спортсмен даже сумел снять футболку, продолжая при этом вращаться на одном колесе своего «коня». Музыкальное сопровождение от лучших диджеев Алматы, вкусные угощения, реки алкогольных напитков, лотерея от спонсоров, а также множество моментальных призов и подарков, красочный салют – таким запомнился  алматинцам Национальный праздник Франции - 2017.
