The famous Spanish opera singer Placido Domingo will perform in Almaty as part of his Central Asian tour on April 30 at the Palace of the Republic. Placido Domingo is one of the greatest tenors of our time, whose genius was recognized by both classical music lovers and world critics. A rare combination of a strong voice, stunning charisma and incredible diligence allowed Placido to become an opera legend during his lifetime. Placido Domingo is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the singer who received the longest applause. In 1991, after the performance of "Othello" in Vienna, the standing ovation lasted 80 minutes. For more than half a century of career on stage in different countries of the world, Domingo has performed more than 150 leading opera parts, spent more than 300 evenings in the orchestra pit or at the conductor's stand, participated in more than 3900 performances in total. In 2012, the tenor participated in more than 80 performances, including singing and conducting - at La scala, Covent garden, Paris opera, Dallas opera, metropolitan opera, Vienna state opera, Valacio de bellas artes, New York city opera, Vienna State Opera, Crocus City Hall, etc.

Редчайшее сочетание сильного голоса, сногсшибательной харизмы и невероятного трудолюбия, позволило Пласидо стать легендой оперы еще при жизни. Пласидо Доминго внесен в книгу рекордов гиннесса как певец, вызвавший самые длительные аплодисменты. В 1991 году после спектакля «Отелло» в Вене, овации продолжались 80 минут. За более чем полувековую карьеру на сцене в разных странах мира, Доминго исполнил более 150 ведущий оперных партий, провел более 300 вечеров в оркестровой яме или за дирижерским пультом, всего участвовал более чем в 3900 представлениях. But residents and guests of Almaty this evening will hear not only the great Placido Domingo. The Uzbek lyric tenor, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Ramiz Usmanov, Spanish opera diva Marina Monzo and special guest of the evening Placido Domingo Jr. will also take the stage. The symphony orchestra will be led by the famous Italian conductor Gaetano Lo Coco, who performs with orchestras and opera houses around the world.

Но жителям и гостям Алматы в этот вечер предстоит услышать не только великого Пласидо Доминго.  На сцену также выйдут узбекский лирический тенор, народный артист Узбекистана, Рамиз Усманов, испанская оперная дива Марина Монзо и специальный гость вечера Пласидо Доминго младший.Руководить симфоническим оркестром будет знаменитый итальянский дирижер Гаэтано Ло Коко, который выступает с оркестрами и оперными театрами по всему миру.
