Climbing to the peak Medic took place in Almaty

In Almaty, an ascent to the summit of Medic took place, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Janssen's work in Kazakhstan and the Day of the Medical Worker, during which an information sign was installed for the first time since the opening of the peak. The establishment of an information plate on the summit with the name of the peak and its height was implemented with the assistance of professional climbers. The height of Medic Peak is 3578 meters. The summit is located in the Gorelnik spur, in the watershed of the Gorelnik gorge and the Maloalmatinsky gorge, and is located to the north of the Mynzhilka peak. The peak got its name in the early 60s of the last century after the ascent of students from the climbers section of the Almaty Medical Institute.

В Алматы состоялось восхождение на вершину Медик, приуроченное к празднованию 10-летия работы «Янссен» в Казахстане и Дню медицинского работника, в ходе которого был установлен информационный указатель впервые с момента открытия пика. Установление информационной таблички на вершине с наименованием пика и его высотой было реализовано при содействии профессиональных альпинистов. Высота пика Медик составляет 3578 метров. Вершина расположена в отроге Горельник, в водоразделе ущелья Горельник и Малоалматинского ущелья, и находится севернее пика Мынжилки. Пик получил свое название в начале 60-х годов прошлого века после восхождения на него студентов из секции альпинистов Медицинского института Алматы.
