NEWS: Sports weekend - over 700 cyclists spent Saturday on the roads of the city

August 18 in Almaty, bike enthusiasts started at the fifth anniversary bike race "Tour of World Class Almaty". The competition was held in the framework of the celebration of Sports Day in Kazakhstan. At the start, more than 700 athletes from 12 years. Cyclists could take part in one of three distances on a highway or mountain bike. The sportsmen were supported and sent to the launch by the representative of the general partner of the Bicycle race, the company Sulpak - Dmitry Gaychuk, as well as the famous Kazakhstani businessman Nurlan Smagulov and the famous Kazakh mountaineer Maksut Zhumayev. About 100 people left the children's distance (14 km). All results will be published on the Almaty marathon website within 24 hours after the competition. At the finish line, in addition to traditional medals and awarding winners, all athletes were waiting for the anniversary cake in the form of the inscription "Tour of World Class Almaty". Everyone could congratulate the organizers and participants on the finish of the festive fifth cycle race. The annual cycling race is organized with the active support of the Akimat of Almaty. The organizers of the competition are the Corporate Fund "Courage to Be the First" (organizer of the annual international Almaty marathon), the World Class Almaty Fitness Club and the Academic Shahmardan Yesenov Science and Education Foundation.

Спортивные выходные – более 700 велосипедистов провели воскресенье на дорогах города

18 августа в Алматы велолюбители стартовали на юбилейной пятой велогонке «Tour of World Class Almaty». Соревнование прошло в рамках празднования Дня спорта в РК. На старт вышло более 700 спортсменов от 12 лет. Велосипедисты могли принять участие на одной из трех дистанций на шоссейном или горном велосипеде (МТВ). Спортсменов поддержали и отправили на старт представитель генерального партнера Велогонки, компании Sulpak – Дмитрий Гайчук, а также знаменитые казахстанцы – предприниматель Нурлан Смагулов и известный казахский альпинист Максут Жумаев. На детскую дистанцию (14 км) вышло около 100 человек. Все результаты будут опубликованы на сайте Алматы марафона в течение 24 часов после соревнования. На финише помимо традиционных медалей и награждения победителей, всех спортсменов ждал юбилейный торт в виде надписи «Tour of World Class Almaty». Каждый желающий мог поздравить организаторов и участников с финишем праздничной пятой велогонки. Ежегодная велогонка организована при активной поддержке акимата г.Алматы.Организаторы соревнования – Корпоративныйфонд «Смелость быть первым» (организатор ежегодного международного Алматы марафона), фитнес-клуб «World Class Almaty» и научно-образовательный Фонд имени Академика Шахмардана Есенова.
