The national contest for young designers which is called «Open Way» was held during to the Kazakhstan Fashion Week. Already for several years it gives a unique chance for talented young designers.

On the eve of Kazakhstan Fashion Week
On the eve of Kazakhstan Fashion Week, we visited two very interesting events: we attended the first meeting of the artistic committee with finalists of the contest of young designers - «OpenWay» and at the press conference of the largest Project in Central Asia - prêt-à-porter Fashion Week.

On April 27 we visited the third and final day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Almaty where were presented collections from Aigul Kassymova (Kazakhstan), Group Show of young designers (Khan Kuchum, Y.A. & DeGuise/Woodeez, The Rolly Polly, Ruslan Panama), Pentatonica (Kazakhstan), ANNAK (UA)and Giles Deacon(UK).

On April 26 we visited the second day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Almaty where were presented the collections of the autumn - winter 2014-2015 from Zherebtsov (Kazakhstan), Lanthane57 (Kazakhstan), Tarverdyan (Kazakhstan), Alima (Kazakhstan), Kravets (Kazakhstan) и Aida KaumeNOVA (Kazakhstan).

April of this year is just incredibly full of fashion events, which we could not visit. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Almaty was no exception from this rule.

On the12th of April we visited the last day Kazakhstan Fashion Week where were presented the collections of the autumn - winter 2014-2015 from Ё9 (Kazakhstan), Kiori(Kazakhstan), Merali by Gudu(Kazakhstan), OlgaStan (Kazakhstan), GIZI (Georgia), Nur-Shah (Kazakhstan), LaRiya(Kazakhstan), Natalia Kaut(UK).

On April 11 we visited the second day of Kazakhstan Fashion Week which was saturated with demonstrations in the framework of the «New Generation», where we could see the collection of debutants week and winners of the «Open Way» (competition between young designers) and defile from local known designers and foreign guests.

From 10 till 12 of April we visited Kazakhstan Fashion Week, the biggest week of Pret-a à-Porter in Central Asia where were presented the collections of the season autumn - winter 2014-2015.

On April 12 we visited presentation within Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week which took place at Sky Lounge restaurant in the The Ritz-Carlton Almaty hotel. There were shown the designers’ collections of the spring-summer 2014 from KRAVETS, Tatyana Tarverdyan and Aigul Kassymova.
