Christophe Guillarmé Paris Spring–Summer 2026 “Seeking Susan”

Christophe Guillarmé Paris unveiled a refined selection from his Spring–Summer 2026 collection, Seeking Susan, in Rabat, as part of the second edition of the Rabat International Fashion Fair (RBTIFF). The presentation took place on Saturday, December 13, at the elegant Conrad Rabat Arzana, where fashion met cinema, nostalgia, and contemporary attitude.

For this new season, the French designer draws inspiration from the cult film Desperately Seeking Susan, a symbol of the mid-1980s and a manifesto of rebellious pop culture. The film, starring Madonna and Rosanna Arquette, becomes the emotional and aesthetic starting point of the collection, echoing freedom, self-expression, and unapologetic individuality.

В новом сезоне французский дизайнер обращается к культовому фильму Desperately Seeking Susan, ставшему символом середины 1980-х и манифестом бунтарской поп-культуры. Картина с Мадонной и Розанной Аркетт в главных ролях послужила эмоциональной и визуальной отправной точкой коллекции, отражая дух свободы, самовыражения и дерзкой индивидуальности.

The silhouettes are infused with a distinctly 80s attitude: iconic jackets inspired by the film appear with richly embroidered collars, while tulle petticoats bloom into unstructured ruffles in vibrant hues of mauve, yellow, and red. Dresses crafted in micro-sequined jersey feature collage-like constructions, capturing movement, light, and attitude in equal measure.

A rich palette of blues — from turquoise and sky blue to deep petrol tones — sets the mood for an enigmatic night. Each look feels unrestrained, daring, and unapologetically fashionable, reminiscent of the raw energy and visual boldness of early MTV music videos.
