On June 25, Almaty hosted the first-ever Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow forum in Kazakhstan, organized by Tatler Kazakhstan. The event brought together a new generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, technology experts, scientists, and creative professionals whose ideas and initiatives are already shaping the future of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

25 июня в Алматы состоялся первый в истории Казахстана форум Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow, организованный Tatler Kazakhstan. Мероприятие объединило молодых предпринимателей, новаторов, представителей бизнеса, IT-индустрии, науки и креативных сфер, чьи идеи и проекты уже сегодня формируют будущее страны и Центральной Азии.

The forum marked the Kazakh debut of the international Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow platform, which has been bringing together outstanding young leaders across Asia since 2016. Today, the initiative is represented in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, and mainland China. In 2026, Kazakhstan became the tenth market to join this prestigious international ecosystem.

Сегодня проект представлен в Гонконге, Сингапуре, Малайзии, Таиланде, Индонезии, на Филиппинах, Тайване, во Вьетнаме и материковом Китае. В 2026 году Казахстан стал десятым рынком, присоединившимся к этой международной экосистеме.

As part of the forum, Tatler Kazakhstan unveiled the inaugural Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow Kazakhstan list, recognizing ten exceptional young professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators whose achievements are already making a meaningful impact on the country's development and the wider region. The program featured panel discussions, masterclasses, and open conversations on entrepreneurship, technology, artificial intelligence, culture, innovation, and leadership. The forum welcomed around 500 guests and more than 30 prominent speakers.

В рамках форума Tatler Kazakhstan впервые представил список Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow Kazakhstan — десяти молодых профессионалов, предпринимателей и новаторов, чьи достижения уже сегодня оказывают влияние на развитие страны и региона. Программа мероприятия включала панельные дискуссии, мастер-классы и открытые диалоги о предпринимательстве, технологиях, искусственном интеллекте, культуре, инновациях и лидерстве. Форум собрал около 500 гостей и более 30 ведущих спикеров.

One of the forum's keynote speakers was Alisher Utev, General Producer of Freedom Cinema & TV, as well as a renowned Kazakh film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is the creator and showrunner of the acclaimed series 5:32, 1286, Serzhan Bratan, and MUNAI. His productions have become an important milestone in the evolution of Kazakhstan's film industry, demonstrating that locally created stories can successfully compete on the international stage.

Он является создателем и шоураннером популярных сериалов «5:32», «1286», «Сержан Братан» и MUNAI. Его проекты стали частью новой главы в развитии казахстанской киноиндустрии, продемонстрировав, что локальные истории способны успешно конкурировать на международном уровне.

During the panel discussion, Alisher Utev emphasized that every successful film or television series begins with a compelling screenplay. In his view, a captivating story forms the foundation of any project, while directing, visual style, and performances serve to elevate and strengthen the original idea.

По его словам, именно интересная история становится фундаментом проекта, а все остальные элементы — режиссура, визуальный стиль и актерская работа — усиливают уже заложенную идею.

Speaking about current industry trends, he highlighted the rapidly growing popularity of short-form content, noting that the entertainment industry is closely adapting to the changing habits and expectations of modern audiences.

"Don't reinvent the wheel—give audiences something familiar, but present it in a new way," Alisher Utev remarked.

According to him, the success of a project often lies not in inventing an entirely new concept, but in finding an original way to tell a familiar story.

The General Producer of Freedom Cinema & TV also placed special emphasis on the development of Kazakh Originals. He noted that local creative teams possess a unique advantage: they can tell authentic stories rooted in a profound understanding of the country's culture, traditions, and national identity. This enables Kazakh productions to create narratives that international studios simply cannot reproduce with the same level of authenticity. One such example is the series MUNAI, which explores its story through the lens of local context and cultural heritage.
