As part of the forum, with the support of Polpharma Santo, Kaldygul Kabakovna Smagulova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Day Chemotherapy Unit at the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology, presented a report entitled “Experience with Recombinant Erythropoietin Zeta in the Treatment of Anemia in Cancer Patients.”

The presentation generated considerable interest among the professional community, as it addressed one of the most common complications associated with anticancer treatment. Anemia can significantly affect not only patients’ quality of life but also the course of therapy, often leading to treatment delays or adjustments. The expert outlined current approaches to the diagnosis and management of this condition and presented practical experience with the use of recombinant erythropoietin zeta in oncology patients.
