Kazakhstan is preparing for "Miss World": Sabina Idrisova will represent the country on the world stage

Казахстан готовится к «Miss World»: на мировой арене страну представит Сабина Идрисова

On May 5, a press conference was held in Almaty dedicated to a significant event - the participation of the 2023 winner Sabina Idrisova in the world competition "Miss World", which will be held in India.

5 мая в Алматы прошла пресс-конференция, посвященная знаковому событию — участию победительницы 2023 года Сабины Идрисовой на мировом конкурсе «Miss World», который состоится в Индии. 

Sabina Idrisova underwent lengthy preparation, which included filming in different parts of Kazakhstan, creating a creative number, taking courses in different areas - from English to makeup and fashion show - and much more. In the past, a professional ballerina, and today the owner of the crown "Miss Qazaqstan-2023" - Sabina is determined to win.

Сабина Идрисова прошла долгую подготовку, включавшую в себя съемки в разных уголках Казахстана, создание творческого номера, прохождение курсов в разных направлениях — от английского языка до визажа и дефиле — и многое другое. В прошлом профессиональная балерина, а сегодня обладательница короны «Miss Qazaqstan-2023» — Сабина настроена на победу. 

The girl is fluent in Russian, Kazakh and English. She is actively involved in sports, professionally builds a modeling career, works on her posture and fashion show. Sabina describes the exclusive outfit created especially for Miss World 2025 as follows: “This costume is not just a dress, but a story told through light, pattern and shape. It unites the past and present, celebrating the beauty of Kazakh culture.” 

Девушка свободно владеет русским, казахским и английским языками. Активно занимается спортом, профессионально строит модельную карьеру, работает над осанкой и дефиле. Об эксклюзивном наряде, созданном специально для «Miss World-2025», Сабина рассказывает так: «Этот костюм — не просто платье, а история, рассказанная через свет, узор и форму. Он объединяет прошлое и настоящее, прославляя красоту казахской культуры».

The beauty’s outfit is inspired by a traditional Kazakh wedding dress and embodies the spirit of national culture in a modern style. The full skirt and flowing train create a majestic silhouette, emphasizing grace and femininity. The main motif is a tulip, a symbol of tenderness and awakening, hand-embroidered throughout the dress and light cape.

Наряд красавицы вдохновлен традиционным казахским свадебным платьем и воплощает дух национальной культуры в современном стиле. Пышная юбка и струящийся шлейф создают величественный силуэт, подчеркивая грацию и женственность. Основной мотив — тюльпан, символ нежности и пробуждения, вышит вручную по всему платью и лёгкой накидке. 

This year, the oldest world beauty contest promises to bring together about 120 participants. The opening ceremony will take place on May 11, and the grand finale on May 31. “I feel incredible responsibility and pride representing my country. It is important for me not just to be a participant, but to become an ambassador of the culture, beauty and spirit of Kazakhstan,” Sabina shares her emotions. 

В этом году старейший мировой конкурс красоты обещает собрать около 120 участниц. Торжественное открытие состоится 11 мая, а гранд-финал — 31 мая. «Я чувствую невероятную ответственность и гордость, представляя свою страну. Для меня важно не просто быть участницей, а стать посланницей культуры, красоты и духа Казахстана», — делится эмоциями Сабина.

"Miss Qazaqstan" is a national beauty contest and a platform that reveals the individuality, strength and uniqueness of each participant. Held year after year, the contest has all the world licenses and strives to show that real female beauty is multifaceted.

"The 2025 season is held under the slogan Freedom of Choice. An open casting has already started - the selected contestants will be able to openly express their views, demonstrate unique talents and inspire thousands of other women across the country with their stories," said Aizhan Ruzayeva, Director of the National Beauty Contest Miss Qazaqstan.

«Сезон 2025 года проходит под лозунгом Freedom of Choice («Свобода выбора»). Уже стартовал открытый кастинг — отобранные конкурсантки смогут открыто выражать свои взгляды, демонстрировать уникальные таланты и вдохновлять своими историями тысячи других женщин по всей стране», - отметила директор Национального Конкурса красоты Miss Qazaqstan Айжан Рузаева.
