On October 12, the best sommelier of Kazakhstan will be determined in Almaty

On October 11-12, the eighth annual competition for the best sommelier of Kazakhstan "Les Grands Chais de France The Best Sommelier of Kazakhstan" will be held in Almaty with the support of the KazSomm Association. Everyone has the opportunity to attend the final of the competition, talk to the best sommeliers of the country and taste more than 100 types of wine.

11-12 октября в Алматы состоится восьмой ежегодный конкурс на звание лучшего сомелье Казахстана «Les Grands Chais de France The Best Sommelier of Kazakhstan» при поддержке KazSomm Association. У всех желающих есть возможность посетить финал конкурса, пообщаться с лучшими сомелье страны и продегустировать более 100 видов вин.

Under the patronage of the Sommelier Association of Kazakhstan (KazSomm Association), since 2017, the competition for the best sommelier of Kazakhstan "Les Grands Chais de France The Best Sommelier of Kazakhstan" has become a tradition that unites professionals of the wine and related industries, wine lovers and all hedonists of Kazakhstan. The event not only determines the best sommelier of the country, but also identifies new trends in the wine market, and draws attention to wine and the sommelier profession.

Под патронажем Ассоциации Сомелье Казахстана (KazSomm Association), с 2017 года конкурс на звание лучшего сомельеКазахстана «Les Grands Chais de France The Best Sommelier of Kazakhstan» стал традицией, объединяющей профессионаловвинной и смежных индустрий, любителей вина и всех гедонистов Казахстана. Событие не только определяет лучшего сомелье страны, но и выявляет новые тенденции на винном рынке, а также привлекает внимание к вину и профессии сомелье.

The event will be held in two stages: the first day (October 11) — the qualifying round and master classes for the competition participants (entrance only for competitors and members of the Association of Sommeliers of Kazakhstan); the second day (October 12) — in the first half of the day, the semi-final and master classes (entrance only for competitors and members of the Association of Sommeliers of Kazakhstan), in the second half — the competition final and wine salon (entrance by tickets).

Мероприятие пройдет в два этапа: первый день (11 октября) — отборочный тур и мастер-классы для участников конкурса (вход только для конкурсантов и членов Ассоциации Сомелье Казахстана); второй день (12 октября) — в первой половине дня полуфинал и мастер-классы (вход только для конкурсантов и членов Ассоциации Сомелье Казахстан), во второй половине - финал конкурса и винный салон (вход по билетам).

Guests will be able to visit the wine salon — a round-robin tasting of more than 100 types of wine from foreign producers; watch the competition final — a round designed to determine the best sommelier of the country in 2024. The tasks of the final will imitate the work of a sommelier in a restaurant and will clearly show the intricacies of this profession.

Гости смогут посетить винный салон — круговую дегустацию более 100 видов вин от зарубежных производителей; посмотреть финал конкурса — раунд, призванный определить лучшего сомелье страны 2024 года. Задания финала будут имитировать работу сомелье в ресторане и наглядно покажут, в чем заключаются тонкости данной профессии.
