Dubai is a city of innovation. Today, we can observe how the Emirates are ambitiously positioning themselves for the future. Here, a vast number of projects, startups, and goals are being pursued, many of which seem unattainable.

One such project was initiated by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairman of the Executive Council and the Crown Prince of Dubai. The idea is aimed at preserving marine environment and biodiversity. 

Один из таких проектов был инициирован Шейхом Хамданом бин Мохаммедом бин Рашидом Аль Мактумом, председателем исполнительного совета и наследным принцем Дубая. Идея направлена на охрану морской среды и биоразнообразия. 

The Dubai Reef concept involves installing the first modules of a marine reef, which significantly contributes to the city's ecological sustainability. 

Концепция Dubai Reef заключается в установке первых модулей морского рифа, что существенно способствует экологической устойчивости города. 

Over the course of 4 years, plans are in place to install 20,000 reef modules of various sizes. Each module will have a volume exceeding 400,000 cubic meters and will occupy an area of 600 square meters within the entire aquatic environment. 

За 4 года планируется установить 20.000 модулей рифа различных размеров . Каждый модуль будет иметь обьемом свыше 400.000 кубических метров и займет территорию в 600 квадратных метров всей акватории.  

"The Dubai Reef project showcases the foresight of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. Coral reef ecosystems serve as unique life sources and important components for protecting marine flora and fauna. The Dubai Reef project will breathe new life into our coastal waters and contribute to global conservation efforts. This project will have a significant long-term impact on the environment and socio-economic development, aligning with Dubai's aspiration to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come," noted Sheikh Hamdan.

Экосистемы рифов представляют собой уникальные источники жизни и важные компоненты защиты морской флоры и фауны. Проект Dubai Reef привнесёт новую жизнь в наши прибрежные воды и внесёт вклад в глобальные усилия по охране природы. Этот проект окажет значительное долгосрочное воздействие на окружающую среду и социально-экономическое развитие, что соответствует стремлению Дубая обеспечить устойчивое будущее для будущих поколений», – отметил Шейх Хамдан.

Initially, in 2021, the idea was supported by Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani with contractors from HaejooX, and it was during this time that the first modules were launched as part of the pilot project. 

Первоначально, в 2021 году , идею поддержал Ахмедом Мохаммедом бин Тани с подрядчиками HaejooX, именно тогда запустили первые модули в рамках пилотного проекта.  

The combined efforts of governmental and private entities, as well as international organizations, will play a key role in the successful implementation of the project. 

Совместные усилия государственных и частных, а также международных организаций, будут играть ключевую роль в успешной реализации проекта. 

The Department of Economic Development and Tourism of Dubai (DET), the new Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority (DECCA), one of the world's largest port operators, DP World, the Dubai Chambers of Commerce, the developer Nakheel, the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, as well as Emirates Airlines, will contribute to achieving the most positive outcomes. 

Департамент экономики и туризма Дубая (DET), новое Управление по охране окружающей среды и изменению климата Дубая (DECCA), один из крупнейших мировых портовых операторов DP World, Торговые палаты Дубая, девелоперская компания Nakheel, Корпорация портов, таможен и свободных зон, а также авиакомпания Emirates внесут свой вклад в достижения самых позитивных результатов.
