23 January 2024 – An official opening event was held at the new Dar Tantora The House Hotel in Old Town AlUla, a unique hotel operated by Kerten Hospitality that celebrates the cultural legacy of the region. The spectacular gala dinner brought together esteemed KSA government officials and distinguished VIPs in a celebration of AlUla’s heritage. Prominent guests included Waleed Aldayel, Chief Strategy and Digital, The Royal Commission for AlUla and Marloes Knippenberg, CEO, Kerten Hospitality.

23 января 2024 года – В новом отеле Dar Tantora The House Hotel в Старом городе Аль-Ула прошло официальное открытие, уникального отеля, управляемого Kerten Hospitality, который отмечает культурное наследие региона. Впечатляющий гала-ужин собрал уважаемых представителей правительства КСА и знаменитых ВИПов в праздновании наследия Аль-Ула. Среди почетных гостей были Валид Альдайель, глава стратегии и цифровых технологий Королевской комиссии по Аль-Ула, и Марлоес Книппенберг, генеральный директор Kerten Hospitality.

The breathtaking citadel of AlUla’s Old Town, with roots dating back to the 10th century and a history that stands as a living testament to the profound impact of historical trade routes, sacred pilgrimages, and agricultural innovations in the area, served as the backdrop of this unique event. Guests were treated to performances by The Naid Choir, Quaanon instrumental segments, cultural dance performances, as well as immersive light and sound experiences celebrating the rich heritage of the area.

Crafted to honor the unique architectural heritage of the area, Dar Tantora The House Hotel is built from the same ancient materials and architectural techniques as the restored mud brick buildings of AlUla’s Old Town.

The event is a prelude to an art project currently under development at Dar Tantora The House Hotel in partnership with The Royal Commission for AlUla aligned with Kerten Hospitality’s mission to engage local artists in every destination that the company operates in, and complementing AlUla’s distinct artistic heritage and the remarkable cultural infrastructure and activity already in place in the county.
