Apple Fest Festival in Almaty: Record-Breaking Apple Compote, Concert, Fair, and Cinema

The Apple Fest Festival was organized on the initiative of the Almaty City Akimat.

Фестиваль Apple Fest был организован по инициативе Акимата города Алматы.

Venue: Park of the First President of Almaty. Date: September 16, 2024, 10:00-21:00. A new entry for the Guinness Book of Records: 1,700 liters of apple compote were brewed at the Apple Fest festival. For this, 50 Almaty gardening farms donated 130 tons of apples to the festival, including the famous "aport".

Место проведения: Парк Первого президента г.Алматы. Дата: 16 сентября 2024, 10.00-21.00. Новая запись для Книги рекордов Гиннесса: на фестивале Apple Fest  сварили 1700 литров яблочного компота. Для этого 50 алматинских садоводческих хозяйств даровали фестивалю 130 тонн яблок, в том числе знаменитый "апорт".

The proceeds from the sale of the drink will be used to buy birdhouses, bird feeders, and seedlings for city parks.

На вырученные от продажи напитка средства купят скворечники, кормушки и саженцы для городских парков. 

A circus circus has also opened in the Park of the First President, which will run until September 25.

Также в парке Первого Президента открылся цирк Шапито, который будет работать до 25 сентября.

Dance groups and famous artists performed on the main festival stage. The headliners of the evening were Captown and Hiro.

На главной фестивальной сцене выступили танцевальные коллективы, знаменитые артисты. Хедлайнерами вечера стали Captown и Hiro.

During the festival, the park territory was divided into thematic zones: the Garden Innovations area, the Flower Wonders Boulevard, the Clean Future Street, etc. There was also a fair of apples, artisans, and craft products. Visitors could watch films from the Golden Fund of Kazakh cinema.

Территория парка во время фестиваля была распределена на тематические зоны: площадка Садовых инноваций, бульвар Цветочных чудес, улица Чистого будущего и др. Также прошла ярмарка яблок, ремесленников, крафтовой продукции. Посетители могли посмотреть фильмы из Золотого фонда казахского кино.
