Southeast Asia is gearing up for a major tourism event as Rixos Hotels, the world’s leading all-inclusive brand, opens its first resort in the region. Set to open later this year, Rixos Phu Quoc Vietnam will offer a new take on all-inclusive holidays set against the stunning backdrop of one of Vietnam’s most beautiful islands.

The resort will be located on Hon Thom Island, also known as Pineapple Island, off the southern coast of Phu Quoc. From mainland Phu Quoc, the world’s longest continuous three-cable car line, which holds a Guinness World Record, leads here.

Created in partnership with Sun Entertainment & Hospitality Group and Ennismore, the resort will be the brand’s first project in Asia to feature its signature premium “All-Inclusive, All-Exclusive” concept. Rixos Phu Quoc Vietnam will offer guests more than 1,700 rooms, 22 culinary concepts, beach entertainment, immersive wellness programs and a variety of activities for the whole family. All this in a space where bold design, energetic rhythm, attention to culture and an easy-going atmosphere create a truly multifaceted holiday. From cycling along the sandy paths of the botanical gardens and sunset cocktails to water activities and evening shows under the stars, every corner is created for vivid impressions.

Phu Quoc offers much more than just a holiday at the resort - the island itself becomes part of the experience. Fans of active leisure will enjoy extreme rides at Sun World Hon Thom and diving at the Eco Beach diving center. Connoisseurs of cultural routes can stroll across the Kiss Bridge or visit Sunset Town, where there are daily fireworks and the Kiss of the Sea show in the world's largest permanent water theater, listed in the Guinness Book of Records. In the evening, guests can visit the VUI-Fest Bazaar night market, get acquainted with the products of local artisans, or play golf on courses stretching from tropical forests to the coast.

Once a sleepy fishing village, Phu Quoc is now one of the world’s most desirable island destinations. In 2024, it was ranked second in the World’s Best Islands by Travel + Leisure, second among Asia’s best islands by Condé Nast Traveler, and among the top 10 by DestinAsian. Phu Quoc is also the only destination in Vietnam with a unique visa regime: according to the current regulations, foreigners and Vietnamese with a foreign passport can stay on the island without a visa for up to 30 days.
