In Almaty, a Seminar Presentation on the Chinese Import and Export Fair Took Place

В Алматы прошел семинар-презентация Китайской ярмарки импортных и экспортных товаров

A seminar-presentation on the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, took place in Almaty. The Almaty Chamber of Commerce and Investments announced the event, highlighting the significance of the seminar in the context of the visa-free agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and China, which came into effect in November 2023. This agreement has increased the appeal of international exhibitions in China for Kazakh entrepreneurs.

Алматинская палата торговли и инвестиций сообщила о проведении семинара-презентации Китайской ярмарки импортных и экспортных товаров (China Import and Export Fair) или Кантонской ярмарки. В ноябре 2023 года в силу вступило соглашение о взаимном освобождении от визовых требований между правительствами Казахстана и Китая. В этой связи привлекательность Международных выставок в Китае вырастает для казахстанских предпринимателей.

The Canton Fair stands out as the pinnacle of international trade events, providing entrepreneurs from around the world with the opportunity to showcase their products and engage in lucrative deals. Organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre, with support from the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Government of Guangdong Province, the exhibition has been held since 1957 in Guangzhou, the economic center of southern China, twice a year – in spring and autumn.

Кантонская ярмарка является кульминацией международных торговых мероприятий, где предприниматели со всего мира могут представить свои товары и заключить выгодные сделки! Организатором выставки является Китайский центр внешней торговли при поддержке Министерства коммерции Китая и Правительства провинции Guangdong. Выставка проводится с 1957 года в экономическом центре южного Китая, городе Гуанчжоу, дважды в год, весной и осенью.

Especially for Kazakh participants, representatives from the China Foreign Trade Centre Group, Ltd (organizers of the Canton Fair) shared insights into the current features of the new exhibition format. During the seminar, representatives from the Chinese bank presented tools to support trade transactions, while Kazakh entrepreneurs shared their experiences of participating in the Canton Fair. This event served as a platform for mutual exchange and collaboration between businesses from Kazakhstan and China, fostering stronger ties in the realm of international trade.
