Jamilya Serkebayeva became the only star from Kazakhstan, who performed at the jubilee of Vakhtang Kikabidze in Georgia

One of the brightest stars of the Kazakh stage, the honored figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the international festival in Monte Carlo with the diploma "The first violin", the laureate of the "Altyn-Adam" award in the nomination "For creative achievements" - Jamilya Serkebayeva became the only artist from Kazakhstan, who participated at the concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Vakhtang Kikabidze in Batumi. It was she who opened concerts of the jubilee. Under the sounds of the violin of Jamilya Serkebayeva, a selection of photos and videos of the creative and life path of Vakhtang Kikabidze was demonstrated.

Одна из самых ярких звезд казахстанской эстрады, заслуженный деятель Республики Казахстан, лауреат международного фестиваля в Монте-Карло с дипломом «Первая скрипка», лауреат премии «Алтын-Адам» в номинации «За творческие достижения» - Жамиля Серкебаева стала единственным артистом из Казахстана, выступившим на концерте, посвященном 80-летнему юбилею Вахтанга Кикабидзе в Батуми. Именно она открывала концерты юбиляра, которых было всего два. Под звуки скрипки Жамили Серкебаевой демонстрировалась подборка фото и видео творческого и жизненного пути Вахтанга Константиновича.

Jamilya performed her cover version of the Georgian folk song "Fill a cup of wine", which Serkebayeva chose herself, after having listened to a lot of musical folklore Georgian material. Thanks to the virtuosic play of Zhamily Serkebayeva, the folk song sounded even more heartfelt, because she added a jazz sound to the ethnic theme. In addition to the musical gift, Jamilya presented to Vakhtang the picture of the famous Kazakh artist Gulzhamal Taghenova, written specifically for the hero of the day.

Жамиля исполнила свою кавер-версию грузинской народной песни «Исполнись чашей вина», которую Серкебаева выбрала сама, переслушав предварительно очень много музыкального фольклорного грузинского материала. Благодаря виртуозной игре Жамили Серкебаевой народная песня зазвучала еще более проникновенно, ведь она добавила джазовое звучание в этническую тему. Кроме музыкального подарка, Жамиля преподнесла Вахтангу Константиновичу картину известного казахстанского художника Гульжамал Тагеновой, написанную специально для юбиляра.

I congratulated the jubilee not only personally from myself, but also tried to express with the help of words and music the love of all Kazakhstani people for his work. I am happy that I was able to become a part of this holiday."

Я поздравила дорогого именинника от не только лично от себя, но постаралась также выразить с помощью слов и музыки любовь всех казахстанцев к его творчеству. Я сказала, что мы любим, трепетно относимся и всегда ждем Вас в Казахстане. Вахтанг Константинович признался, что очень любит нашу страну, его всегда тепло встречают. Я счастлива, что смогла стать частью этого праздника».

In addition to Jamilya Serkebayeva, such stars as Nani Bregvadze and her daughter Eka Mamaladze, as well as Lisa Bagrationi, Emin, Valeriy Meladze, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, performed not only Georgian, but also favorite hits in Russian, as at the concerts in Batumi there were fans of Kikabidze from the planet. Jamilya Serkebayeva is a universal artist, she perfectly performs popular music, rock and, of course, classics. She is a soloist of the Concert Orchestra of the Akim of Almaty. The music of Jamilya Serkebayeva unites the hearts of people, regardless of the country of residence and the language of communication, the sounds of the violin cannot leave any listener indifferent.
