Lanvin SS 2021 collection presented at Shanghai Fashion Week

Lanvin's Spring/Summer 2021 collection presented at Shanghai Fashion Week, creative director Bruno Sialelli voyages: through space, through time. The collection debuted in the city’s 16th century Yu Garden - translated as ‘Garden of Happiness’. The location is symbolic: the rural discovered within the urban, a symbol of Chinese history in a metropolis known for its modernity. The exchange between the old and the new, between heritage and the contemporary, inspires the collection's approach, a reexamination of the legacy of the Maison, its physical archives and the house’s ideological meaning. This collection is a translation of Lanvin for a new place and a new time - yet the ethos remains the same. Elegance, optimism, joie de vivre.
