Gorilla IMBA Camp Returns to the Mountains: A Festival Above the Clouds for Those Who Refuse to End Winter

From May 7 to 10, the mountain resort Shymbulak will once again become the epicenter of alpine lifestyle culture as the fifth edition of Gorilla IMBA Camp takes place at an altitude of 3200 meters. Blending sport, music, adventure and mountain spirit, the camp has become one of the season’s most anticipated events for everyone who feels connected to the mountains.

This year’s edition will symbolically close the winter season with four days filled with snowpark riding, competitions, mountain ascents and open-air parties surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes.

The sports program will feature training sessions and collaborative rides led by invited professional athletes, including Andrey Anufriev, Anton Samorokov, and Maxim Senkevich, alongside other riders and ambassadors of mountain culture.

Participants will have the opportunity to ride some of the camp’s best snowpark lines and compete across several disciplines. Big Air will challenge riders on a massive jump where style, amplitude and trick complexity will be judged. Jibbing contests will unfold on rails and park features, while the dynamic Imba Cross race will send riders down a specially prepared course designed for speed and technical skill.

Big Air станет соревнованием на большом трамплине, где будут оцениваться стиль, амплитуда и сложность трюков. Beyond park riding, the camp will also offer a full mountain ascent experience. Guests will be able to join ski touring expeditions accompanied by educational sessions and safety lectures, allowing participants not only to explore the mountains but also to deepen their understanding of alpine culture and responsible freeriding.
