The design-led hotel was hosting a five-days fashion pop-up featuring new designer collections, industry talks and exclusive live art performances 8 November 2020, Dubai, UAE: After success of the first ‘Art Meets Fashion’ in May 2021, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is hosting a second edition in collaboration with leading designers from the Oriental Fashion Show Paris and other international Fashion Weeks.

Fashion designers in attendance from Oriental Fashion Show include French designers Lamia Lakhsassi and Mounia Amouri, Moroccan designer Soukaina Touahri and Amina Benmoussa, creator of Miya Couture.

From Thursday 11th to Monday 15th November, designers, influential names, brands and collections from the fashion world will be showcased at the hotel, including Aliya Abdimazhit, Samidel Almaty, Hafiza Collection Adili, Lidiya Andre, Gulnara Kassym, Leyla Qazaq, Elmira Batyrova and many more.

The five-day event started with an industry panel discussion, where fashion expert Hind Joudar, Founder of Oriental Fashion Show Paris, she educated and inspired on topics from brand development to securing a place at Oriental Fashion Show Paris.

Guests had the chance to watch a live painting event with talented Iranian artist Azam Sadeghi featuring a unique technique used by the artist to create a series of bold pop-up canvases.

During the event all guests had an exciting opportunity to indulge into Art Afternoon Tea sessions, where a three-tiered stand of mouth-watering savoury and sweet treats was offered, followed by an art tour with Astrid Lessuise, Art Manager at Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown.

Throughout the event, all guests and visitors had a chance to win a staycation at Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown by voting for their favourite Emirati dress design, exhibited at the lobby lounge area as part of Zay Initiative fashion competition.
