Premiere of the film "The Path to Yourself": a space for dialogue, strength and support

Премьера фильма «Путь к себе»: пространство диалога, силы и поддержки

On May 27, the premiere of the documentary film "The Path to Yourself" took place in Almaty at the Arman cinema. It is a joint project of ICF Kazakhstan and the Mama Pro Public Foundation.

27 мая в Алматы в кинотеатре «Арман» состоялась премьера документального фильма «Путь к себе» — совместного проекта ICF Казахстан и Общественного фонда «Мама Про».

The film was the result of a unique partnership project between coaches and mothers raising children with special needs, implemented over two years. This is a story about resilience, love and the path that women take in the most difficult life circumstances.

Фильм стал итогом уникального партнёрского проекта коучей и мам, воспитывающих детей с особыми потребностями, реализованного в течение двух лет. Это история о стойкости, любви и пути, который женщины проходят в самых сложных жизненных обстоятельствах.

The stories sounded from the screen, in which each heroine told her personal, unique story - but these voices merged the experiences of thousands of mothers who daily face challenges, pain and social isolation.

С экрана звучали истории, в которых каждая героиня рассказывала свою личную, уникальную историю — но в этих голосах сливались переживания тысяч матерей, ежедневно сталкивающихся с вызовами, болью и социальной изоляцией.

This film is about how, having gone through despair and loneliness, women find a resource in themselves, regain strength and find a connection with themselves, with their family, with the world.

Этот фильм — о том, как, пройдя через отчаяние и одиночество, женщины находят в себе ресурс, возвращают силу и обретают связь с собой, с семьёй, с миром.

The strong point of the film was its musical and artistic line.
The performance of kobyzist Layli Tazhibayeva, whose music became a metaphor for inner strength and movement of the soul, organically intertwined with the narrative.

Сильной стороной фильма стала его музыкально-художественная линия.
Выступление кобызистки Ляйли Тажибаевой, чья музыка стала метафорой внутренней силы и движения души, органично переплелось с повествованием.

The works of the young artist Sofia Kishenina added a bright, intuitive visual accent - as a reminder of goodness, light and family values. This was her message.

Работы юной художницы Софьи Кишениной добавили светлый, интуитивный визуальный акцент — как напоминание о добре, свете и семейных ценностях. Именно об этом был её посыл.

In 2024, the social coaching project, which was the basis of the film, became a laureate of the international ICF DEIB award, taking second place in the global nomination for its contribution to the development of inclusion, equality, diversity and belonging.

В 2024 году социальный коучинговый проект, положенный в основу фильма, стал лауреатом международной премии ICF DEIB, заняв второе место в глобальной номинации за вклад в развитие инклюзии, равенства, разнообразия и принадлежности.

This recognition confirmed the significance of the project both in Kazakhstan and in the global coaching community.

Это признание подтвердило значимость проекта как в Казахстане, так и в мировом коучинговом сообществе.

The project "Path to Yourself", like all the activities of the ICF Kazakhstan Branch, was implemented entirely on a volunteer basis.

Проект «Путь к себе», как и вся деятельность Отделения ICF Казахстан, был реализован полностью на волонтёрской основе.

This is not an exception, but a principle: all initiatives — from coaching support to large-scale events and films — are created by professional volunteers united by the desire to contribute to social change.

Это не исключение, а принцип: все инициативы — от коучингового сопровождения до масштабных событий и фильмов — создаются профессионалами-волонтёрами, объединёнными желанием внести вклад в общественные перемены.

The premiere brought together more than 200 guests, among whom were:
— representatives of government agencies, foundations and family support centers,
— public figures, patrons, coaches and project participants,
— famous cultural figures, journalists, experts and partners.

Премьера собрала более 200 гостей, среди которых были:

— представители госструктур, фондов и центров поддержки семьи,
— общественные деятели, меценаты, коучи и участники проекта,
— известные представители культуры, журналисты, эксперты и партнёры.

The film's heroines came to the premiere with their families — and this became the most touching moment of the evening. Their children, relatives and friends saw stories told with sincerity and respect on the big screen for the first time.

Героини фильма пришли на премьеру вместе с семьями — и это стало самым трогательным моментом вечера. Их дети, родные и близкие впервые увидели истории, рассказанные с искренностью и уважением, на большом экране.

In their words, the heroines shared what became the meaning of the path they had traveled for them:
"Children with special needs are our teachers. They come into our lives to show what unconditional love is. Pure, non-judgmental. And how important it is to accept people as God created them,” said Nadezhda Baranova.

В своих словах героини поделились тем, что стало для них смыслом пройденного пути:

«Дети с особыми потребностями — это наши учителя. Они приходят в нашу жизнь, чтобы показать, что такое безусловная любовь. Чистая, безоценочная. И как важно принимать людей такими, какими их создал Бог», — сказала Надежда Баранова.

“A dream is the ability to live life, accepting it as it is. With all the difficulties, losses, joy and pain. This is the strength of a person,” shared Shynar Nigmedzhanova.

«Мечта — это умение прожить жизнь, принимая её такой, какая она есть. Со всеми сложностями, потерями, радостью и болью. В этом и есть сила человека», — поделилась Шынар Нигмеджанова.

“The path was very difficult. But I learned to appreciate life, to enjoy every day. God sends a person to a person - to help, to remind that we are not alone,” said Karina Kovgan.

«Путь был очень трудным. Но я научилась ценить жизнь, радоваться каждому дню. Господь посылает человека человеку — чтобы помочь, чтобы напомнить, что мы не одни», — рассказала Карина Ковган.

Sergey Azimov, film director, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke after the screening. He highly praised the work of the director and the entire team, emphasized the expressiveness of the visual language, the power of the documentary approach and suggested developing the theme, deepening the portrait line of women-mothers.

Сергей Азимов, кинорежиссёр, Заслуженный деятель РК, выступил после показа. Он дал высокую оценку работе режиссёра и всей команды, подчеркнул выразительность визуального языка, силу документального подхода и предложил развивать тему, углубляя портретную линию женщин-матерей.

Kasymkhan Kapparov, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mama Pro Foundation, also spoke from the stage, telling about the activities of the foundation, which currently operates in five cities of Kazakhstan - Almaty, Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shymkent and Kostanay.
Со сцены выступил также Касымхан Каппаров, Председатель Попечительского совета фонда Mama Pro, рассказав о деятельности фонда, который сегодня работает в пяти городах Казахстана — Алматы, Астане, Усть-Каменогорске, Шымкенте и Костанае.

The foundation carries out comprehensive work with mothers, fathers and families raising children with special needs.

Фонд ведёт комплексную работу с мамами, папами и семьями, воспитывающими детей с особыми потребностями.

The film's creative team was present in the hall:
- Abylaikhan Toleukhan, director, whose documentary works have been noted at international festivals,
- Erkin Satenov, cameraman, a professional who created the expressive visual language of the film and a subtle reflection of the inner world of mothers.

В зале присутствовали творческая команда фильма:

— Абылайхан Толеухан, режиссёр, чьи документальные работы были отмечены на международных фестивалях,

— Еркин Сатенов, оператор, профессионал, создавший выразительный визуальный язык фильма и тонкое отражение внутреннего мира матерей.

The film is over, but - as Aya Kaliyeva, Honored Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Director of Communications of ICF Kazakhstan said - everything is just beginning.

Фильм закончился, но — как сказала Ая Калиева, заслуженный деятель РК и директор по коммуникациям ICF Kazakhstan — всё только начинается.

For everyone who was in the hall, an internal path begins - understanding, reassessment, returning to what is truly important. Each one will have their own. Someone will feel a response, someone will want to talk to their loved ones, someone will start a conversation with themselves. This is exactly why we create such projects - to remind: in this difficult world, the most important thing is the person, their voice, their choice, their life."

Для каждого, кто был в зале, начинается внутренний путь — осмысления, переоценки, возвращения к тому, что действительно важно. У каждого он будет свой. Кто-то почувствует отклик, кто-то — захочет поговорить с близкими, кто-то — начнёт разговор с собой. Именно ради этого мы и создаём такие проекты — чтобы напоминать: в этом сложном мире важнее всего остаётся человек, его голос, его выбор, его жизнь».

This is a film about resilience and choice, about how women, faced with extreme life trials, find the strength to live, care, accept, love - no matter what. This is a film about values that need to be protected: love, family, inner strength, support. And about the fact that a person needs a person.
