The exhibition of artist Alessya Artemyeva

Photographed by Christina Landina (Fotoday.kz)

On 26 February we visited the exhibition of paintings in the ancient Japanese Oshibana technique,

in which employs Kazakh artist Alessya  Artemyeva. She became famous in her home country, near and far abroad because of the author's technique of « writings by cereal » in which the principles of Byzantine mosaics and Japanese Oshibana she creatively combines. The artist in her works replaces traditional paint, which for a long time to her liking in the culture of Japan. This «natural mosaic» instead of artificial colors are cereal grains, spices, seeds, bark and starch. Came to congratulate Alessya her friends, as well as representatives of media, celebrities and simply art lovers.
