The 14th Festival du Merveilleux invites visitors to immerse themselves in the festive charm of “Joyeux Bercy.” The Musée des Arts Forains, France’s first show museum and a must-visit destination during the holiday season, transforms the Pavillons de Bercy into a spectacular wonderland filled with music, dance, acrobatics, and magic.

A Celebration of History and Heritage

Recreating the lively atmosphere of Bercy’s wine and spirit markets of 150 years ago, the Pavillons de Bercy offer a unique immersive experience. Visitors can enjoy vintage rides, captivating performances, and interactive exhibitions featuring historic photos and artifacts. Guests are also encouraged to waltz, polka, and mazurka in the enchanting space where 19th-century merchants, artists, and writers like Honoré Daumier once gathered.

Preserving the Spirit of the Past

Set across 1.5 hectares, the Pavillons de Bercy include six restored 19th-century wine cellars, complete with stone facades, vaulted brick arches, and steel structures designed by Victor Baltard’s protégé. Declared a historic monument in 1986, this magical site, illuminated for the holidays, celebrates the art of festivities through parades, performances, and guinguettes.
