It takes several directions. Building on the momentum of that of 2023 which focused on the crocodile, toucan and ZEBRE, Animal Print explores the universe of predators: tiger, lion and lioness, snake and crocodile, owl and owl, New Christmas stars adorn the fir trees. The dragon (sculpture and pendant) will also be present since 2024 will be the year of the dragon in the Chinese calendar. For the first time, the Lalique house initiates a cross-reference with certain works by the surrealist painter René Magritte (1898-1967). The Masked Apples of the Married Priest (1950) are very successful. The giraffe taken in a glass a little less: its neck is not long enough even if the proportions with Le bain de cristal (1946) are respected. The green color - one of the most difficult to work with - will reign supreme, especially for the crocodile vase or the snake cup and the reissue of an old vase. It completes the series for the jewelry collection, just like red, which goes particularly well, especially on the long 3-chain necklace. Some pieces from the Lalique-Magritte collaboration or predators are in limited edition.
