Opening ceremony of Astana Art Fest on «Nurzhol» boulevard

On June 17 Astana residents and guests of the city were lucky to witness the birth of the New Generation.

At the evening performance, timed to the opening of Astana Art Festival, the audience was literally dragged into an allegorical hoax! Grandiose theatrical interactive show about the Great Way of the New Man - the result of the annual intense work of the creative union of the dance group «AriZona show performance group», the honored figure of the RK, the ballet artist - Jandos Aubakirov, the director of large-scale shows, the creative director of the art company «A6» Andrey Eremin (Kiev, Ukraine) and Galina Pianova, theater director, founder and chief director of the first independent theater of Kazakhstan «ARTiShOK». Milestones on the Path, its stages were presented through the psychological prism as the stages of the birth of the Spirit and Soul, the inner transformation. Bright, vortex movement of dancers, charging with inexplicable energy, literally showing the strength of personal aspiration, as it should be a real theatrical activity, blurred the boundaries of reality and carried away all viewers into their world.

17 июня астанчанам и гостям города посчастливилось стать свидетелями Рождения Нового Поколения. На вечернем представлении, приуроченном к открытию Astana Art fest, зрителей буквально втянули в аллегорическую мистификацию! Грандиозное театрализованное интерактивное шоу о Великом Пути Нового Человека – итог годовой напряженной работы творческого союза танцевального коллектива «AriZona show performance group», заслуженного деятеля РК, артиста балета – Жандоса Аубакирова, режиссера-постановщика масштабных шоу, креативного директора арт-компании «А6», Андрея Еремина (г. Киев, Украина) и Галины Пьяновой, театрального режиссера, основателя и главного режиссера первого независимого театра Казахстана «ARTиШОК». Вехи на Пути, его этапы были представлены через психологическую призму как этапы рождения Духа и Души, внутренней трансформации. Яркое, вихревое движение танцоров, заряжающее необъяснимой энергией, буквально показывающее силу личного устремления, как и положено настоящему театральному действу, размыло границы реальности и увлекло всех зрителей в свой мир.

Nomad Energy, the main idea of the festival, thanks to the presentation was not just understandable, but also emotionally charged - energetic music, light and fire-show performances, interactive with the «magic» lighting of the fire by the force of collective Inspiration. Stunning performances from the headliners of the festival - the German theater of luminous puppets DUNDU and the sculptor of fire from the British Virgin Islands - Aragorn Dick-Reid literally plunged the audience into the magic of the elements.

По замыслу режиссеров «новорожденные» пережили череду трансформаций: от человека «перекати-поле», движущегося без смысла и цели в сером мире, к осознанию и слиянию со стихиями, к человеку-номаду. Nomad Energy, главная идея фестиваля, благодаря представлению стала не просто понятной, но и эмоционально заряженной – энергичная музыка, световые и fire-show перфомансы, интерактив с «магическим» зажжением огня силой коллективного Вдохновения. Потрясающие акции от хедлайнеров фестиваля – немецкого театра светящихся марионеток DUNDU и скульптора огня с Британских Вирджинских островов – Арагорна Дик-Рида буквально погрузили зрителей в магию стихий.

The fiery cube «Journey of Nomad» by Aragorn Dick-Read became a kind of finale of the show, a point of achievement. The fire inside the sculpture is the light that gives life to the symbols, but at the same time warns about the danger and fragility of our human endeavors. To light the fire in the cube Aragorn invited the mayor of Astana Aset Isekeshev. Akimat of the city supports the festival from the first year and highly appreciates the work of the organizers in the formation of the cultural space of the capital. The spectacular release in the gathering night of the luminous puppets of DUNDU allowed all spectators to feel and experience a symbolic encounter with the spirits of Nomad, the power of life and the secrets of life! Astana Art Fest takes art to the streets, it becomes a part of the life of the city, its inhabitants, and changes them. The Nomad Energy show is the first street show in Kazakhstan of such a scale. This is not even a street theater, it's the Theater-Around-You, an artistic illusion that turns into reality here and now!

Огненный куб «Путешествие Номада» Арагорна Дик-Рида стал своеобразным финалом шоу, точкой достижения. Огонь внутри скульптуры – это тот свет, который дает жизнь символам, но в то же время предупреждает об опасности и хрупкости наших человеческих начинаний. Зажечь огонь в кубе Арагорн пригласил акима Астаны Асета Исекешева. Акимат города поддерживает фестиваль с первого года и высоко ценит работу организаторов по формированию культурного пространства столицы. Эффектный выход в сгущающейся ночи светящихся марионеток DUNDU позволил всем зрителям до озноба ясно прочувствовать и прожить символическую встречу с духами Номада, силой жизни и тайнами жизни! Astana Art Fest выводит искусство на улицы, оно становится становится частью жизни города, его жителей, и меняет их. Шоу Nomad Energy – первое в Казахстане театрализованное уличное шоу таких масштабов. Это уже даже не театр улицы, это Театр-Вокруг-Тебя, художественная иллюзия, превращающаяся в реальность здесь и сейчас!
