Dihya, one of the most powerful Chaoui voices of the Aurès, has long been a symbol of cultural resilience, artistic integrity, and the spirit of the Amazigh world. On October 11th, 2025, at 5:30 PM, she received the prestigious Gold Medal of the Académie des Arts, Sciences et Lettres during an elegant ceremony at the Hôtel Intercontinental – Salon Opéra in Paris.
Дихья, одна из самых выразительных шауийских голосов Ауреса, давно является символом культурной стойкости, художественной силы и духа мира амазигов. 11 октября 2025 года в 17:30 она получила престижную Золотую медаль Академии Искусств, Наук и Литературы на торжественной церемонии, прошедшей в Hôtel Intercontinental – Salon Opéra в Париже.

Accompanied by filmmaker Youssef Lalami and international stylist and renowned lyrical singer Azal Belkadi — a collaborator of the Bolshoi Theatre — Dihya was celebrated for her lifelong dedication to art, cultural transmission, and the preservation of identity.

Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Receiving today the Gold Medal of the Arts-Sciences-Lettres Academy is a great honor for me.
Through this distinction, it is the voice of the Aurès that you are honoring — the voice of the Chaoui people, and beyond, of all Amazighs.

Господин Президент, дамы и господа,
Получить сегодня Золотую медаль Академии Искусств, Наук и Литературы — большая честь для меня.
Через эту награду вы чествуете голос Ауреса — голос народа шауи и, шире, всех амазигов.

I sing to keep our language, our memory, and our dignity alive.
Each song is a fragment of our history, a cry of love for our culture.
Я пою, чтобы сохранить наш язык, нашу память и наше достоинство.
Каждая моя песня — это фрагмент нашей истории, крик любви к нашей культуре.

I also wish to pay tribute to my late husband Messaoud Nedjahi — my composer, my writer, my companion in struggle.
This medal, I share it with him. He carried with me this dream of freedom and identity.
Я также хочу отдать дань памяти моему покойному супругу Мессауду Неджахи — моему композитору, моему писателю, моему соратнику. 
Эту медаль я разделяю с ним. Он нёс вместе со мной нашу мечту о свободе и идентичности.

I dedicate it to my people, to our artists, and to all those who keep the Amazigh flame alive.
