Forum «Dolphin therapy in the system of rehabilitation of children with special needs

April 18, Almaty a unique event took place - the Forum «Dolphin therapy in the system of rehabilitation of children with special needs».

At the forum the results for the year of work on the program «Dolphin therapy in Kazakhstan» were summed up. Also, the results and prospects of rehabilitation for children and adolescents with the help of dolphins are announced. Presentation of a municipal social project for the rehabilitation of children with special needs with the help of dolphins was held. During the year of operation of the Almaty department of dolphin therapy, 351 children underwent a full course of rehabilitation and rehabilitation with the help of dolphins. Among the main features of the development of small patients: ASD and autism, cerebral palsy, marked by developmental delays, mental retardation, ADHD. When working with cerebral palsy, the effectiveness was 84%, which includes such results as: improvement and formation of coordination, development of motor skills, improvement of muscle tone, partial and complete removal of paresis, stabilization of the psycho-emotional sphere of the individual. In work with ASD and autism, the effectiveness was 88% - improving and building self-service skills, socializing children, initiative, working out unwanted forms of behavior, reducing stereotyping. When working with mental retardation, 71% - emotional adequacy, improvement in volitional processes, development of cognitive skills. 18 апреля Алматы состоялось уникальное событие − Форум «Дельфинотерапия в системе реабилитации детей с особыми потребностями». На форуме были подведены итоги за год работы по программе «Дельфинотерапия в Казахстане». Также озвучены результаты и перспективы реабилитации для детей и подростков с помощью дельфинов. Состоялась презентация городского социального проекта реабилитации детей с особенными потребностями с помощью дельфинов. За год работы алматинского отдела дельфинотерапии 351 ребенок прошел полный курс оздоровления и реабилитации с помощью дельфинов. Среди основних особенностей развития маленьких пациентов: РАС и аутизм, ДЦП, различиные задержками в развитии, умственной отсталостью, СДВГ. При работе с ДЦП эффективность составил 84% в которую входит такие результаты как: улучшение и формирование координации, развитие двигательных, навыков, улучшения тонуса мышц, частичное и полное снятие парезов, стабилизация психоэмоциональной сферы личности. В работе с РАС и аутизмом эффективность составила 88% – улучшение и формирование навыков самообслуживания, социализация деток, инициативность, отработка нежелательных форм поведения, снижение стереотипности. При работе с умственной отсталостью 71% – эмоциональная адекватность, улучшение в сфере волевых процессов, развитие познавательных навыков. При работе с СДВГ 62 % − улучшение показателей навыков самоконтроля и силы воли. Место проведения: Алматинский круглогодичный дельфинарий «НЕМО», ул. Гоголя, 1 (бывший парк им. Горького).
