FutureBuilders AI Era: An International Corporate AI Hackathon Took Place in Almaty

Almaty hosted the international corporate AI hackathon FutureBuilders AI Era — a new stage in the development of corporate innovation at Efes Kazakhstan, focused on AI-driven solutions for key business challenges. The program was implemented by Efes Kazakhstan as part of the global entrepreneurial initiative of Anadolu Efes and became the next evolution of the previously launched Intrapreneurship Hub project.

В Алматы прошёл международный корпоративный AI-хакатон FutureBuilders AI Era — новый этап развития корпоративных инноваций Efes Kazakhstan с фокусом на AI-решения для ключевых бизнес-зач компании. Программа была реализована Efes Kazakhstan в рамках глобальной предпринимательской инициативы холдинга Anadolu Efes и стала новой версией и продолжением ранее созданного проекта Intrapreneurship Hub.

This year, Efes Kazakhstan became the first international platform to host the program. The hackathon brought together 25 company employees from Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Moldova, who formed cross-functional teams to develop AI-based business solutions.

В этом году Efes Kazakhstan впервые выступил международной площадкой проведения программы. В хакатоне приняли участие 25 сотрудников компании из Казахстана, Грузии и Молдовы, объединившихся в кросс-функциональные команды для разработки AI-решений для бизнеса.

As part of the program, participants received training on working with the Notebook LM platform, explored modern AI tools, and began creating their own AI agents. Over the course of three intensive days, teams worked on projects aimed at automating and solving pressing business tasks in logistics, sales, marketing, commercial analytics, customer service, and internal operational processes.

В рамках программы участники прошли обучение работе с платформой Notebook LM, изучили современные AI-инструменты и приступили к созданию собственных AI-агентов. В течение трёх дней команды работали над проектами, направленными на автоматизацию и решение актуальных бизнес-задач в сферах логистики, продаж, маркетинга, коммерческой аналитики, клиентского сервиса и внутренних операционных процессов.

At the conclusion of the hackathon, six teams were selected to continue developing and refining their MVP solutions.

По итогам хакатона были определены шесть команд, которые продолжат развитие и доработку своих MVP-решений.

Opening the event, Efes Kazakhstan Marketing Director Zeynep Erkan Alp emphasized that FutureBuilders AI Era marks a new chapter in the company’s innovation culture:

She also highlighted that participants had already completed an important journey by undergoing AI training and exploring new tools, approaches, and opportunities. According to her, the company aims to cultivate within Efes Kazakhstan a culture of continuously searching for new solutions and applying AI technologies in practical business contexts.

Она также подчеркнула, что участники уже проделали большой путь, пройдя AI-обучение и познакомившись с новыми инструментами, подходами и возможностями. По её словам, компания стремится формировать внутри Efes Kazakhstan культуру постоянного поиска новых решений и практического применения AI-технологий в бизнесе.

During the three-day hackathon, teams were able to apply their newly acquired knowledge in practice, collaboratively developing effective solutions for the company’s key business tasks. It is precisely in this format that ideas evolve into real tools capable of creating new value for business and increasing the efficiency of internal processes.

В течение трёх дней хакатона команды смогли применить полученные знания на практике, совместно разрабатывая эффективные решения для ключевых бизнес-задач компании. Именно в таком формате идеи превращаются в реальные инструменты, способные создавать новую ценность для бизнеса и повышать эффективность внутренних процессов.

FutureBuilders AI Era is aimed at fostering entrepreneurial thinking within the company, integrating AI approaches into business processes, and creating an environment for testing innovative solutions capable of delivering practical value to business operations.

FutureBuilders AI Era направлена на развитие предпринимательского мышления внутри компании, внедрение AI-подходов в бизнес-процессы и создание среды для тестирования инновационных решений, способных приносить практическую ценность бизнесу.

The next stage of the program will focus on the further development and pilot implementation of the created solutions within the company. Similar initiatives launched previously have already evolved into real business cases, including projects such as Feedcom and Smart Promo, which were successfully integrated into the company’s workflows.

Впереди участников ждёт следующий этап программы — развитие и пилотирование созданных решений внутри компании. Ранее подобные инициативы уже получали практическое продолжение и трансформировались в реальные бизнес-кейсы, включая проекты Feedcom и Smart Promo, которые были интегрированы в рабочие процессы компании.
