Omar Mansoor debuts “Lapis Lazuli” at Paris Couture Week Spring/Summer 2026

Paris, France – July 8, 2025 – London-based designer Omar Mansoor unveiled his latest couture collection, Lapis Lazuli, during Paris Couture Week. The presentation highlighted his signature fusion of elegance, cultural storytelling, and eco-conscious fashion.

The collection is named after the semi-precious stone lapis lazuli, long admired by civilizations such as the Indus Valley and Ancient Egypt. With its deep blue hue, the stone has historically symbolized wisdom, truth, and inner power — themes reflected throughout the line.

Crafted from ethically sourced Margilan silk in shades of midnight blue, each look features delicate hand embroidery and actual lapis lazuli stones embedded in the fabric. The designs fuse traditional Eastern techniques with contemporary Western cuts, offering day-to-evening versatility.

Mansoor further honors Central Asian heritage by incorporating Uzbek atlas fabric, known for its centuries-old ikat patterns. Through this, he reinforces his dedication to slow fashion and cultural preservation.

Presented in an intimate Paris venue, the show was applauded for its understated sophistication and sustainable message. With Lapis Lazuli, Omar Mansoor continues his journey as a designer who bridges worlds — ethically, artistically, and beautifully.
