Miss Shymbulak

Beauty contest «Miss Shymbulak» was held on March 23 within celebration of the joint anniversary of Kazakhstan Fashion Week and Shymbulak ski resort. According to the results of selection more than 60 top models of Almaty took part in the competition, and as a result 42 participants passed in the final. A photo shoot with fashion-photographers was the first stage of the contest.

Photos of participants were relayed on the screen, and by voting via SMS, guests of the competition has been able to identify 20 girls, who past in the following tours - mini-interview and dance competition. Then only 5 winners were determined. Dancing and vocal collectives came there to support participants. 5 winners of the competition: the 4th vice-Ms. Shymbulak – Dushina Vera, the 3rd vice-Ms. Shymbulak – Gunbina Yulia, the 2nd vice-Ms. Shymbulak – Chepurnova Polina, the 1st vice-Ms. Shymbulak – Totayeva Zarina and, at last, Miss Shymbulak – Titova Olga. The finalists of the contest - Olga Titova and Yuliya Gunbina received a special award: participation in the regional contest «Miss Almaty».

Конкурс красоты «Мисс Шымбулак» прошел 23 марта в рамках празднования совместного юбилея Kazakhstan Fashion Week и горнолыжного курорта Шымбулак. В конкурсе, по результатам отбора, приняли участие более 60 топ-моделей Алматы, в итоге в финал прошли 42 участницы. Первым этапом конкурса стала фотосессия с fashion-фотографами. Фото участниц транслировались на экране, и путем голосования, посредством смс, гости конкурса смогли выявить 20 девушек, прошедших в следующие туры – мини-интервью и танцевальный конкурс, после которого были определены 5 победительниц конкурса. Поддержать участниц приехали танцевальные и вокальные коллективы. 5 победительниц конкурса: 4 вице-мисс Шымбулак – Душина Вера, 3 вице-мисс Шымбулак – Гунбина Юлия, 2 вице-мисс Шымбулак – Чепурнова Полина, 1 вице-мисс Шымбулак – Тотаева Зарина и, наконец, Мисс Шымбулак – Титова Ольга. Финалистки конкурса Ольга Титова и Юлия Гунбина получили спец-приз - участие в региональном конкурсе «Мисс Алматы».
