NEWS: The Tulpar Award will be presented at the 1st International Film Festival Almaty Film Festival

Part of the program of the 1st International Film Festival Almaty Film Festival will be the national award in the field of cinematography Tulpar. As the vice-president of the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, the chairman of the organizing committee of the Tulpar National Award, director Rashid Nugmanov noted, the award has been given since 2016.

 “This year two prominent events have merged into one big holiday of the cinematography world”, added the director. “The purpose of the film award is to support domestic cinema and its propaganda among our viewers and foreign audiences, and the development of the national film production and distribution.”

In 2018, for the Tulpar award, Kazakhstan full-length feature films, non-feature and animated films that were released or planned to be released to the cinema distribution in Kazakhstan from October 1, 2017 to September 30 of the current year, with daily paid cinema sessions of at least 7 consecutive days, are considered.

Our viewers will see nominee films as part of the program of Kazakhstan films of the International Film Festival. Information about the films can be found in the festival catalog, as well as in all media content of the event.

The awarding ceremony will be held on September 19 during the closing of the Almaty Film Festival. The official award is a statuette according to a sketch approved by the presidium of the Academy.

By secret ballot of the Academy’s members, Tulpar is awarded in the following categories:

1. Best Film

2. Best Directing 

3. Best Screenplay

4. Best Actor

5. Best Actress

6. Best Cinematography

7. Best Art Direction

8. Best Music

Премию «Тулпар» вручат на I Международном кинофестивале Almaty Film Festival

Частью программы I Международного кинофестиваля Almaty Film Festival станет национальная премия в области кинематографии «Тулпар». Как отметил вице-президент Национальной академии кинематографических искусств и наук, председатель оргкомитета Национальной премии «Тулпар», режиссер Рашид Нугманов, премия вручается с 2016 года.

   -  В этом году два ярких события слились в один большой праздник мира кинематографии, - добавил режиссер.  - Цель кинопремии - поддержка отечественного кинематографа и его пропаганда среди соотечественников и зарубежной аудитории, развитие национального производства и проката.

В 2018 году на соискание премии «Тулпар» рассматриваются казахстанские полнометражные игровые, неигровые и анимационные кинофильмы, вышедшие или запланированные к выходу в кинопрокат в Казахстане в период c 1 октября 2017 года по 30 сентября текущего года с ежедневными платными киносеансами не менее семипоследовательных дней.

Соотечественники увидят фильмы-номинанты в рамках программы казахстанских фильмов МКФ. Материалы о фильмах будут размещены в каталоге фестиваля, а также на всех информационных ресурсах мероприятия. 

Торжественная церемония вручения премии состоится 19 сентября во время закрытия Almaty Film Festival. Официальной наградой является статуэтка по эскизу, утвержденному президиумом академии. 

Премия «Тулпар» присуждается по итогам тайного голосования членов академии по следующим номинациям: 

 1. “Лучший фильм”；

2. “Лучшая режиссерская работа”；

3. “Лучший сценарий”；

4. “Лучшая мужская роль”；

5. “Лучшая женская роль”；

6. “Лучшая операторская работа”；

7. “Лучшая работа художника-постановщика”；

8. “Лучшая музыка к фильму”.
