The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival continued to enchant audiences and industry professionals on its eighth day. This day was marked by the presence of iconic personalities and the highly anticipated screening of Rebecca Zlotowski's film "Vie privée ". The red carpet vibrated under the flashes of photographers, welcoming the elegant Turkish actor Selim Bayraktar. His highly anticipated appearance in a stunning, colorful costume added a touch of international glamour. By his side, the young and talented Via Lemann radiated, dressed in an Elie Saab creation and adorned with Fred jewelry, embodying the timeless glamour of the Festival. Selim Bayraktar also highlighted Turkish talent by wearing a design by Melik Kam.

Selim Bayraktar: An Internationally Recognized Talent

Selim Bayraktar is a renowned Turkish actor, celebrated for his role as Sumbul Agha in the historical series "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" (Magnificent Century), a global success and one of the most notable Turkish dramas. More recently, he gained international recognition for his performance in the Netflix original series "Rise of Empires: Ottoman". Alongside his on-screen career, Selim Bayraktar continues to tread the boards of Turkish State Theatres, where he has been a seasoned actor for 25 years.

The renowned Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, located in the heart of Mallorca, was invited to participate in the third edition of the exclusive international project IN THE KITCHEN, a cultural and gastronomic project by the Swiss company 365 ART, exclusively represented and held on May 23 and 24 at the iconic Laureate Grand Café in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

This invitation further establishes the international prestige of the Mallorcan hotel as a benchmark in the European fine dining scene. Representing Spain, Chef Blai Valbona, Executive Chef of Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, presented a tasting menu specially created for the occasion, inspired by Mediterranean flavors and reinterpreted with his innovative style.

For the past five years, Laureate Grand Café has carried on this creative spirit — now through gastronomic performance and artistic exchange.

Blai Valbona’s portrait will join the permanent collection of Cap Vermell Grand Hotel, reinforcing the strong connection between art, gastronomy, and hospitality that defines the Mallorcan establishment.

2024 gave "Miss Qazaqstan" a new concept - the slogan of the competition this year sounds like The Art Of Being A Woman. It shows that the beauty contest in Kazakhstan is becoming a broad platform for supporting women in any field of activity, and the contest itself no longer focuses only on the appearance of the contestants. It is also important for the participants to be socially active, engage in public activities, volunteer, improve their intellectual skills and broaden their horizons. "Miss Qazaqstan" strives to show that beautiful women can also develop in different areas and engage in important activities.

2024 год подарил «‎Miss Qazaqstan» новую концепцию — лозунг конкурса в этом году звучит как The Art Of Being A Woman («‎Искусство быть женщиной‎»). Он свидетельствует о том, что конкурс красоты в Казахстане становится широкой площадкой для поддержки женщин в любых сферах деятельности, а сам конкурс больше не акцентирует основное внимание только на внешности конкурсанток. Для участниц также важно проявлять социальную активность, заниматься общественной деятельностью, волонтерством, повышать интеллектуальные навыки и расширять кругозор. «‎Miss Qazaqstan‎» стремится показать, что красивые женщины также могут развиваться в разных сферах и заниматься важной деятельностью.

The winner of the title "Vice Miss Qazaqstan-2024" was Aidana Abylkassova! Tomiris Kadyrkhan (Miss Earth Qazaqstan-2024), Dana Almasova (Miss Universe Qazaqstan-2024) and Bagym Baltabayeva (Miss World Qazaqstan-2024) will represent the country on the international stage. According to the results of the audience vote, Inkar Bakhtiyar won the Miss People’s Choice nomination.

On November 12, 2024, the grand salon of the InterContinental Paris le Grand became the setting for a heartfelt gala under the patronage of Princess Yasmine Murat and Princess Mahkameh of Schaumbourg-Lippe. Organized by Homayra Sellier, founder of Innocence en Danger, the event marked 25 years of this organization’s tireless work to protect children from violence.  

12 ноября 2024 года в Большом салоне InterContinental Paris le Grand прошел благотворительный гала-вечер под покровительством принцессы Ясмин Мурат и принцессы Махкамех Шаумбург-Липпе. Организатором события выступила Хомайра Селлие, основательница Innocence en Danger. Вечер был посвящен 25-летию деятельности этой организации, защищающей детей от насилия.  

The gala was a harmonious blend of advocacy and music, featuring performances by pianist royals, including Princess Mahkameh and her husband, Prince Alexander of Schaumbourg-Lippe. Guests were also graced by Princess Caroline Murat’s presence, making the evening a royal affair aimed at raising awareness and funds.

The highlight of the evening was an auction that successfully raised substantial funds for Innocence en Danger. This organization focuses on protecting children from all forms of violence, especially sexual abuse. Princess Yasmine Murat, as the event’s honorary president, rallied generous donors who shared a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children.  

Кульминацией вечера стал аукцион, который позволил собрать значительные средства для Innocence en Danger. Эта организация занимается защитой детей от всех форм насилия, особенно сексуального. Принцесса Ясмин Мурат, почетный президент мероприятия, объединила щедрых меценатов, разделяющих приверженность делу защиты уязвимых детей. 

Music played a central role, reflecting the event's theme of harmony and hope. The royal pianists’ performances created a poignant atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of compassion and collective action in making a difference in children's lives. 

Музыка заняла центральное место в вечере, отражая его основную идею — гармонию и надежду. Выступления королевских пианистов создали трогательную атмосферу, подчеркивая важность сострадания и совместных действий для изменения жизни детей к лучшему.

For the first time, on the stage of the Palace of the Republic, a popular Russian singer with a powerful voice and a wide vocal range performed with a solo concert.

Впервые, на сцене Дворца Республики, с сольным концертом  выступил  популярный российский певец, обладающий мощным голосом и обширным вокальным диапазоном.

Alexander Panayotov's concert was organized by Korobko Production and became a real holiday for fans of his work.

Концерт Александра Панайотова был организован компанией Korobko Production и стал настоящим праздником для поклонников его творчества. 

"I was warmly received in Almaty. The Kazakhstani audience is wonderful. I love my audience in every city where I perform, but in Almaty I was especially warmly received. The audience danced, gave many gifts and flowers, and I am grateful that my music, my concert were highly appreciated. The Kazakh people are very musical, with good musical taste," said Alexander Panayotov.

The singer has repeatedly visited Almaty for various events. He has always admired the mountains, which give a special flavor to the city. The singer said that in each city where he performs, the concert program has its own characteristics. 

Певец  неоднократно бывал в Алматы на различных мероприятиях. Его всегда восхищали горы, которые придают особый колорит городу. Певец рассказал, что в каждом городе, где он выступает программа концерта имеет свои особенности.

"If I have not been to the city with concerts before, then I try to perform all my bright hits that I had in the framework of the project "People's Artist". The songs that I performed on the project "The Voice", my previous hits - "Lunar Melody", "Unusual", "Lady of the Rain", "On the Edge". The song "All by Myself" is already associated with me, and it has entered my repertoire. The audience is interested in hearing this long note, on which all the mentors on the project "The Voice" once turned around. I rarely sing cover versions of some songs, usually at creative evenings of our great composers and great artists. Basically, I sing songs to the music that I write myself or songs that other authors wrote especially for me," the singer said. All these songs were heard in Almaty and, of course, the song by George Michael "Careless Whisper", which the singer performed on the project "The Voice". The singer integrated George Michael's voice into this song and created a virtual duet.

«Если ранее я не был в городе с концертами, то я стараюсь исполнить все свои яркие хиты, которые у меня были  ещё в рамах проекта «Народный артист». Песни, которые я исполнял на проекте «Голос»,  мои прежние   хиты  - «Лунная мелодия», «Необкновенная»,  "Леди дождя", «На краю».  Песня "All by Myself" уже ассоциируется со мной, и она вошла в мой репертуар. Зрителям интересно  услышать эту длинную ноту, на которую когда-то развернулись все наставники на проекте «Голос». Я мало пою  кавер-версии каких- то песен, обычно  на творческих вечерах наших великих композиторов и больших артистов. В основном, пою  песни на  музыку, которую пишу сам или песни, которые специально для меня написали другие авторы», - рассказал певец. В Алматы звучали  все эти  песни и конечно же песня Джорджа Майкла "Careless Whisper" , которую певец   исполнял на проекте «Голос». Певец интегрировал голос Джорджа Майкла в эту песню и получился виртуальный дуэт. 

Not a single concert of Alexander is complete without the hit "Invincible", he considers this song an anthem of his fans.

Без хита «Непобедимый» не проходит не один концерт Александра, он считает эту песню гимном своих поклонников.

For the song "Millions", for which the singer wrote the music himself, the singer was awarded the "Golden Gramophone".

"I try to present the premiere of the song in every city. In the cities where I have been several times, I make an updated program, I try to perform all the songs recorded this year and my biggest hits," the singer explained.
